I think they’ll only need the attrition orb proc on area denials. Their damage isn’t great when they don’t have the weaken artifact perk on them.
I think the sidearms will be fine but maybe you won’t be able to run them in double secondary loadouts as easily as you can now.

I've discussed the issue of Double Special incessantly on here, much to the disdain of the illiterate and illogical.
[b]Double Special[/b] has almost [b]ALWAYS[/b] been meta in [i]Endgame PVE[/i].
The floor has been drastically reduced with [i]Rocket Sidearms, Area Denials, Wave Frames[/i] & [i]Rapid Frame Shotguns[/i] ,[b]IN ADDITION TO[/b] seemingly [i]infinite[/i] [b]Ammo Sources[/b]- [i]Finisher Mod[/i], [i]Finders[/i], [i]Rally Banners[/i] everywhere, [i]Ammo Chests[/i] every other activity, etc.
[b]BUT[/b] alongside of [b]ALL[/b] of this, is the sheer [b]BROKENESS[/b] of [i]Prismatic[/i], giving Fireteams [i]infinite[/i] [b]Ability Spam[/b] that's far more potent than any [b]Weapon[/b] or [b]Super[/b] in the game.
[b]THAT[/b] is the primary reason [b]Double Special[/b] is so viable for [i]every[/i] skill tier right now.
They need to reduce the [b]Ammo Availability[/b] and [b]Reserves[/b] in addition to dumpstering [i]Prismatic[/i].
If they aren't going to properly [u]grow[/u] and [u]balance[/u] [i]Prismatic[/i], it needs to be [b]nerfed[/b] into oblivion. [b]ZERO[/b] variety in [i]Endgame[/i], barring self antagonizing thanks to how imbalanced it is.
