*No this is not satire with exception to two points. I highly rec0mmend you read the comments and debates the me and other players have done to get a better picture of some points.*
Bungie, read this as some of these ideas will save your game. As a player for half of the life span of Destiny, I see myself playing the game less and less because the health pool of bosses increase, and the difficulty upon enemies overall are getting worse and worse. If you want more people to start playing the game more, I would recommend setting the bar for all of endgame down a whole lot. Here are my suggestions:
1.) Reverse a lot of nerfs on weapons (Divinity nerf, Izanagi nerf, Grand Overture nerf) as the feeling of power within every weapon is important
2.) Make Day 1 emblems aquireable through other means (Flawless Master all Challenges done)
3.) Reduce the difficulty of a day 1 from -25 to -20 as the game is for loot, and gatekeeping loot to a single day is not very fun
4.) Build crafting is bad for the game, and prioritizing build crafting as an important mechanic to the game will kill off the fun.
5.) Build Crafting should be used to accentuate all of the weapons, as Destiny 2 is a gun game, not a buildcrafting game.
6.) Buff every weapon so that each weapon feels a lot more powerful, especially for endgame content.
7.) Stop doing balancing updates to the game and make everything busted.
8.) Powercreep will happen, but if you allow weapons to be powerful, powercreep wont be an issue as everything will be viable.
9.) Make faster endgame missions (I shouldnt just be taking an hour to 2 hours completing endgame dungeons or raids, I have a life)
10.) To make money, I recommend settling to a gatcha-like game to pull for weapon skins, shaders, ships, and sparrows while making the armor sets a completely separate buy along with the seasonal model that is in place.
11.) Stop reusing bosses
12.) Remove the Journey system, I am tired of grinding to rank 11 over and over again
Hot take: Vesper's Host is a horrible dungeon if you solo flawless and the boss health should be reduced
I know Bungie wont read this, and I know there are controversial ideas in here, but the tryhards don't see that difficulty is partially what is shooing people away (along with the poor content model). In which case, another case for the difficulty being the problem is due to the fact that only 5% of the total playerbase are "endgame players" as that is who completed the solo flawless dungeons or have done the master raids
"This is for the endgame content of Master raids, Trials, and Solo dungeons"

3 답변Get Destiny out of the middle of the road. Make the easy parts easy again, and the hard parts hard again. Story missions used to be a fun romp where anyone could play through without much difficulty and, you know, enjoy the story. Now they're a chore and a slog. Exotic missions used to be optional and hard. Get them out of the story; not everyone needs to be earning an exotic gun the first week of a new season/episode/whatever and be locked out of story progression if they don't.

I think that's nonsense... it ruins the game. I want to craft... you want to farm infinitely for a god roll. Two different systems... 2 options. If you can get a "god roll" both ways, why get rid of one. I would like the Sunset maps back. Starting with Forsaken.

Having one weapon basically be a necessity for DPS is bad for the sandbox. 2.No. Day 1 emblems are day 1 emblems for a reason, they are supposed to be rare and hard to get. 3.Loot isnt gatekept on day 1 raids so…idk what this is about. Day 1 raids are fine and the only exclusive loot in day 1 is an emblem. 4.Buildcrafting is the only thing that keeps this game alive. Do you wany D1 style classes all over again? Where theres no customization, everyone is the same and theres no unique playstyles? 5.I see where you are coming from, but this is a “space magic” game. If you put too much focus on strictly gunplay (less ability spam), its gonna kill the fun for 90% of players. 6.??? Im just confused by this one. Do you want scout rifles to one shot ads in GM’s? Our guns are already powerful, your hand cannon isn’t supposed to one shot higher rank enemies. 7.At this point I realized this post might be satire. 8.Already addressed this, weapons are already powerful. 9.Idk if you’ve played other MMOs, but raid-style content is supposed to be long. If you dont wanna invest time, then maybe they just arent for you. 10. Im confused on what youre suggesting here. 11. Finally something we can agree on. Sometimes its ok, but Bungie does it WAY too much. 12. I also agree with this. Tbh the whole “Guardian Rank” system as it stands is complete garbage.

1 답변작성자: CORPERATE COMMANDER 1/24/2025 8:09:47 PMAgree game isn't inviting atall to new lights and majority of content worth doing relys on a yt tutorial so turning the game off to watch a tutorial on how to play the game gets pretty tiresome The fact that solo dungeon clears is a requirement for a rank up but bungie refuses to sort out the health accordingly for how many are in the fireteam (health scaling) It's quite funny tbh they keep nerfing things even whilst pvp is riddled with cheats /carry services in pvp and pve and think sunsetting armour will bring back players 😆 26k online on a weekend even when bungies giving away adepts says enough ,let bungie keep listening to the same streamers that want d2 to be a sweat fest with only 12 players left 😆 atleast they only have say with d2 and cannot ruin other games with there idiotic choices that only they benefit from. Yes I do gms and yes I do master dungeons and master exotic missions also a few master raids under my belt ,the main issue is adds kick out way too much damage sometimes so resilience feels useless same for the mods which dont even work sometimes and bosses being bullet sponges that cannot be stagger locked

3 답변Build crafting is bad for the game? That is a spicy take -- and an incorrect one They at very least need to make more viable builds. Look at prismatic titan, there is only one (maybe two at a pinch) useful builds. With out some sort of builds crafting, the game would be completely stale

3 답변Well constructed feedback, a very rare occurrence on these forums. Good job. Let’s start with what I agree with: Point 6 is good especially for underpowered archetypes. Vespers host boss health I agree is too much and I think needs some level of scaling. Point 11 is also good Now with what I disagree with: Pretty much everything else. The point about the day one emblem is dumb because it’s only an emblem following that it the day one is basically the only thing the top players have and removing or changing day ones will harm the game. The points about build crafting also sucks because build crafting is almost universally considered a good thing because the players have more control over what they want to spec into. Could it be tuned The collective points about balance are abysmal. Basically you argue bungie should just make everything busted and never balance the game. This leads to incredibly stale metas where everyone just defaults to the best thing in the game and content becomes a joke. Bungie would lose the entirety of the endgame player base because the game would get stale. The point about faster endgame missions is frankly just a skill issue, raids don’t take 2 hours to complete. Making the game gatcha style would also kill the game because of the bad PR bungie would get from the community. Seeing how gatcha style is memed on for being scummy. The Journey system is irrelevant to the game.

9 답변I don't really care about everything else, but 2 and 3 should definitely not happen. The hardcore community already has so little... and you want to take away the only cool flex you earn from the most challenging activity. If people can't handle -25, that's on them. Master + all challenges + flawless runs are still 10x easier than contest mode. The raids are solved by then. It just will never mean the same if you do it later.

And should be rewarded to players who manage to beat it plus they made it easier where now it’s the first 48 hours to get the emblem. And despite that I have attempted to beat the raids in contest mode but never could and I ain’t complaining. Secondly no gatcha-like elements we most likely have destiny rising for that plus we already have ornaments for armor so I think there should be earnable armor and weapons because not everyone is going to pay for that.

2 답변Optional matchmaking for all activities except raids would also be nice. I don't see a problem with matchmaking for exotic missions at expert level and dungeons, they are not raids after all, but going through them solo is not fun. Limiting matchmaking without good reasons is a stupid principle that is completely illogical. I hope someone from Sony will understand this and shake up these conservatives who like to repeat pointlessly "we are listening".

8 답변No day 1 emblems should be brought back down to day 1 only, there's a reason they have that name. The game is already way to easy, and if you're spending 2 hours in anything even endgame you're doing something horribly wrong. Maybe the game isn't the issue, maybe the issue is you?

2 답변1.Day one is exactly what it's called "Day One". No way that should be anything but. If you'd like a day one emblem travel back in time, preorder, get in the beta, and claim your reward! Otherwise you can always send a message to those that did so and congratulate them. I always congratulate those that get Flawless or finish everything involving raids or dungeons.Do the same and as always stay vigilant guardian 😁

1 답변None of this will help and you're delusional if you think otherwise. If Bungie buffs everything we have access to insane levels, then they need to come up with some way to make the game challenge that power. We'll just end up with another bridge encounter from Reckoning, because we'll be so powerful that BS instant kill situations will be the only way Bungie can challenge our power. You sound like my six year old nephew who complains when enemies fight back to any degree.

19 답변작성자: Kiro - 13 1/21/2025 6:34:00 PMThey tried catering to casuals by making a game for every one & not a game the developers/creators want to play. Infact you are living in it now, with the peak of player populations coinciding with the hardest of content. Even PvP suffered from this when the boots on the ground meta came about with first gen AE, culminating to the epic moment Bungie said "looking up is too hard". Whats why Revenant has been such a bust, every thing outside of the dungeon being so simple & easy its a joke. Players want a return to the boxed product thats super polished, over delivery, and challenging content. So if you seriously think the game is to hard right now you may find tic-tac-toe is more your pace then.
