So tonics, hidden tunnels, going into mirrors, puzzles that open doorways in rooms you can't see, the literal castle aesthetic of Kell's Fall, none of that was reminiscent of Castlevania to you? Also, Alethonym is literally a spike & Slayer's Fang's exotic perks are called heart piercer & nightsworn sight. Nightsworn sight's symbol is also a bat.

Fopr starters they could have actually put in the effort to make the "castle" look like a revenant castle and not just a dreaming city/awoken recycle. It could have been unique. The whole tonics thing is and was entirely irrelevant to the whole set-up because they did absolutely nothing of anything of unique substance for the whole mission. There could have been actual vampire themes and not just straight recycle of old content. Fikrul and "his" children are all zombies, not vampires. Nercomancers and zombies and vampires are not the same. The mission itself also lacked any real substance and is in of itself just a mass recycle over and over. The weapon isn't even that great even with the catalysts and the only thing that can make it even seem "vampire" esk is the bat and stake theme that is so miniscule it's virtually irrelevant. I got more of a vampire theme from the witch queen campaign then I did Kells fall. Like the whole thing just screams lazy and half -blam!-3d.
