Just a question and I support your post but why do you need to run a stasis weapon on a stasis subclass?
1. Harmonic mods
2. Fragments that utilize damage type:
-(for instance; Prismatic has: Rapid blows of an element type create matching elemental pickup... Enhanced Collective Action has been bugged for 6 months and don't work with stasis shards on prismatic specifically.
-(Stasis has a fragment where stasis weapon final blows have a chance to create stasis shards.)
3. Specific Exotics require specific damage types: (Mantle of battle harmony is universal, but you can argue there is incentive to run a stasis weapon here), Path of Burning Steps heavily benefits when using a solar weapon, Ballidorse Wrathweavers is specific to stasis weapons.
4. Build synergy: Collective Action here is a no brainer especially on stasis. Paracausal would be a much better substitute, as it would be easier to proc instead of chasing down randomly spawning pickups every 6 seconds.
6 Primary Stasis weapons get Collective Action, 6 Primary Stasis Weapons get Adrenaline Junkie
Since most of the game highly revolves around synergy/ matching damage types, Stasis Weapons in particular fall out of place, since the other Subclasses have their own stuff going on that is much better to run with their own element type as opposed to against the element type.
Your not gonna run a stasis weapon on void warlock with Demo + AJ when a void weapon has so much more functionality (Especially with Reckless Oracle getting paracausal affinity)
It is very important and fruitful to match weapons with your subclass.
Since that is the case the majority of the time with many other subclasses, Stasis primary weapons don't have a spot. Not in other subclasses and not even inside its own subclass.
So why does it keep getting perks like adrenaline junkie when it doesn't even synergize well inside its own kit. lol.
