It's fun, for now.
I used it on a hunter gyrfalcon build and its a lot of fun. I also used it with the titan no back up plans void build and it's incredibly good at infinite overshields and boss melting.
When you build into it, it can be strong and fun. It will inevitibly get nerfed at some point.

It's certainly viable, it just doesn't stand out to me. For all those builds you mentioned, there are just better options. I wish Fang could really be unique and excel at something, instead of just being kind of viable but mid.
