Why is the first thing to always remove something ? Never to change or asking for tips with how to deal with it. I am asking this as i to have instantly wanted something out rather then changed or giving it time for me to learn. My biggest issue with them is their god tier tracking and how in gms it can just instakill you. Best thing would probably to reduce the blast radius of each shot and remove one missile, this should help with the high damage and be a bit more forgiving. Nerf them a bit instead of removing them is the better option. Some threshers can be spotted from a distance and can safely be taken out, others will spawn in either when getting into the new area or they will spawn in with the new waves of adds. Once you learn when and where they will spawn, they will be easier to deal with.

What does playing since the beginning have to do with anything?

Give them a crit spot at least. Invalides any guns that weight their damage on precision. So anything that doesn't explode basically.
