So, like most players, I jumped on at reset and began the new content.
I wasn't impressed at all with the chapter, and this tonic mixing rubbish made me lose what little interest I had left in the game.
And onslaught? I haven't even tried it yet after being burned out from last time.
But.........
Myself and some clanmates have been having a blast doing older and more regular stuff in the form of dungeons and nightfalls.
Maybe making the new content so bad makes past content seem enjoyable, or it's just part of the 10 level power grind, but I'm actually playing more now than I have done in months.
And credit where credit is due, Bungie have actually listened to the players regarding the pathfinders.
I completed all 3 by mainly doing vanguard, a couple or 3 basic crucible matches, and without ever going into gambit once.
So as the title suggests, does making terrible new content make old content seem a lot more bearable?
That tonic stuff messes with this old tortoise’s noggin. 😵💫
Agree re the Pathfinder options remarks; I posted a thread myself when I happened across it, whilst grinding Gambit for By-golly-it’s-back! 😉
Well done, Devs et al! 👈
Now, about those tonics?… 🤔
