I recently got back into Destiny 2 on PC after years of not playing. I've been enjoying it for the most part but I keep getting the weasel error code sometimes once a day sometimes literally every 5 minutes. I kept getting banned from crucible because "I kept leaving the game and making it worse for other players" Destiny 2 is the only game I have connection issues with so I've been trying to troubleshoot the problem for the last 2 weeks. I have gone through all of the recommended actions to fix the issue and finally landed on a "fix" which was to use a VPN, and it worked I didn't get kicked for 2 days straight. The problem is I really wasn't happy having to pay a subscription to play a game that I shouldn't need one for. So I kept troubleshooting and thought since this is what the weasel error is for "Players who attempt to log in to multiple platforms simultaneously while Cross Save is enabled on their account will receive a WEASEL error on which ever platform they logged in on first." Which I never did I don't even own an XBOX or PS anymore. I figured I would just turn off cross-save. Once I finished I found out that I can no longer play my character for 90 days because it didn't leave the save on my primary account instead I can now only play my account on my XBOX which I no longer have. So now that you've read all this is there any hope of fixing this because if not I will likely never play again because it's not worth waiting 3 months just to keep getting weaseled.
