Dragonflights and Destiny 1: Resurrection Lapry101 (Lapry101, Earth, Sol system) Leaves fall down from the blue sky above the beach as the salty breeze carries grains of sand with some landing on my body. Birds fly up in the air, their shrieks piercing the clouds before they flee as dragons fly overhead. Then, a small raven shaped drone with black feathers and a blue pulsating light flies over to my body emitting a blue beam. My flippers twitch and the world slowly emerges from the cold black as my vision returns to me. I slowly get up taking care not to stumble on the sand and wipe the light brown layer from my body with my blue and cream flippers. I then look down at my chest seeing a necklace with a dragon’s face and a Lapras charm on it as well as a dog tag that says, “[i]Lapry101, Soldier of the Dragonflights[/i]” on it. The robot floats in front of me saying, “[i]Welcome back, Lightbearer. You don’t know how long I’ve been looking for you.[/i]” “[i]How long has it been? What happened to the-?[/i]” I begin before an alien roar cuts me off. “[i]It’s not safe here. We need to get out of here and find the Dragon Queen, but first you need a weapon.[/i]” answers the Ghost. My Ghost companion and I walk away from the beach for a while before stumbling on an old weapons cache containing various firearms of all kinds. I pick up a modified Khvostov 7G-02 assault rifle and a unique pistol with an extra magazine containing small rockets and holster them with my Ghost’s help. After arming myself, the drone then fabricates a layer of durable yet light armor over my body and shell giving me another layer of protection to face the dangers ahead. We continue walking for a few minutes and come across an old communication tower with a rotating satellite dish above it and a small computer at its base. My Ghost flies to the machine firing small beams of Light to repair it and it crackles to life. A red dragoness’s face appears on the screen as she orders, “[i]All forces in the field, this is Queen Alexstrasza. Report to the Dragon’s Sanctum at once.[/i]” “[i]You heard her, so now we need to find a Sparrow to reach the Sanctum quickly. Good news, I found a Sparrow yard a few dozen klicks north from our position. Bad news, it’s guarded by rhinoceros like soldiers intent on scrapping them for parts. Let’s go, Lapry.[/i]” says my companion “[i]Got it Ghost.[/i]” I answer the Ghost before drawing my rifle and loading a fresh magazine. We make our way to the Sparrow yard intent on continuing our quest to return to the Dragon’s Sanctum and not letting anything stand in our way.
