In this week's TWAB, (no I'm not calling it a TWID) Bungie had this to say under the coming Sandbox changes for Pvp.
"We did have one note we missed last week: In Revenant we are going to be placing a cap on the amount of crouch inputs you can enter per second to equalize Hold to Crouch with Toggle Crouch in terms of its behavior. This limit is something that can be tuned, and because a tactical crouch or two during an engagement is an expression of skill and not something we want to discourage, we verified in our play testing that our first pass was set so that it would be difficult to tell a limit existed if you're crouching at a normal cadence. However, our goal is to reduce the amount of untargeted crouch spamming, done either manually or via macros, encountered while playing Crucible, and we can further change the value as needed to prevent this behavior."
I could be mistaken, but this seems to be targeted at people who spam the crouch button multiple times in quick succession, and is trying to limit how many times you can T-bag a single person before they revive.
Am I wrong about all this? Or is this the beginning of the end of T-bagging as we know it? Leave your own thoughts and comments down below.

I remember the days of t bagging which meant I out played you. Now people t bag you when they kill you with a super or when they use broken meta loadout. The skill level went down the drain when bungie started to cater to the casuals.

I believe siege conceptually had the right approach to the issue of the character model spamming around due to inputs - allow some initial spam, but continuous leaning/crouching centralizes your character, rendering the overall effect to be minimal. I think their decision is trying to address the situation and will have improvements as time goes on.

😂 "Untargeted crouch spamming". Good definition. Though it is a nerf to teabagging, I don't think that was the direct reasoning. I think its just crouch spamming in general. Teabagging is just affected by this as a result. It is Bungle though, so one could logically assume its directly tied there too. A player should never be able to crouch faster than a real human can, in any game using humanoid characters. I understand it as a nerf to crouching volume in general. Anyone with a brain cell can realize though, that crouch spamming really serves no real benefit to the individual engaging. Its more counterproductive than anything. Maybe I'm just good at taking those people out, but most others struggle? I do not know. Its about time they nerf some in-game stupidity though. Is that bannable to say? Probably. Everything is, here.😂

4 답변Teabagging? That’s your take away from the nerf? I mean, even if it did affect teabagging, you could still do it. Just lower your sps output (sack per second), and I’m sure you’ll be just fine

5 답변They probably did it because of the amount of macroing going on. It wasn’t a big issue otherwise. Blame the guys on PK titan and (insert device or scripting software here) that play all day just to cheat.

No, and they didn't even really nerf crouch-strafing. It'll just be slightly more predictable, but all the people constantly killed by it are still going to be killed by those players. Dip-dip-potato chip still very much on the menu for after you send them back to spawn though :D

1 답변작성자: Franco-Nevada 9/27/2024 1:59:27 PMI assume guys have a button programmed that allows them to repeatedly crouch a million times a minute. They often hit this while I'm emptying a magazine into their skull with the idea that it is going to throw my aim off or keep bullet damage from registering. The other one I hate is when guys come in sliding and even though I keep the bullets pouring into their face, many don't register and they somehow miraculously one-shot me with a shotgun. These are flaws in the game mechanics that need to be fixed by the devs.
