Contest mode dungeons just kills the experience
For me I have so many day 1 dungeons senice the beginning of forsaken now you added contest mode bungie and revives on contest which dungeons shouldn’t really need bungie I like my day 1 dungeons go in and have fun not have my head banged against the wall for 48hrs like seriously kiss my day 1 clears goodbye moving forward

Once 3 fireteams beat it (which will be done relatively quickly I’d imagine) the normal mode will open up for people like yourself who don’t like a challenge and just want loot handed to them because they can’t be bothered to actually try

4 답변The normal mode will drop after the first three teams clear it - therefore your day one experience will still exist.

1 답변I think the fact that Bungie is choosing the teams to play contest mode is what ruins the experience. I think EVERYONE should have the opportunity to be part of this "race."

Congrats, your “day 1” starts on Saturday! As soon as 3 teams beat the contest mode (and I think it’s only gonna be 4-5 hours at first) you can access the normal mode version. That’s something new for people that don’t want to do contest mode. So you don’t have to wait out the whole time now.

9 답변Funny that they can't even make contest mode an option when choosing the dungeon. Is adding the option too hard for them when there are existing content with options?

1 답변Once the first three teams clear the Dungeon on Contest Mode, then the normal mode of the Dungeon will be unlocked. Because of that, the wait for the normal mode of the Dungeon should not be that big a deal. For some, Contest Mode will be a golden opportunity because the Exotic from the Dungeon will be a guaranteed reward upon completing it in the first 48 hours. I will be willing to give the Contest Mode version of the Dungeon a go since I don't mind the challenge, and the guaranteed Exotic is just a bonus. There also haven't been any special rewards for completing Dungeons on day one until now, so why are you complaining? That it's going to be harder for you to do it on the first day?

15 답변I think it’s a great idea on their end. Guaranteed drop. It’s a dungeon so I think it’s more accessible than a first day raid.
