Hi, for several weeks now the game freezes from time to time and I have to either force close it through the task manager or it closes directly. I don't get a blue screen but the game crashes. It should be noted that it only happens to me with Destiny. Game acquired through Epic Games.
Things I have tried:
- Checked the hardware by doing GPU, CPU, Memory and hard drive tests and everything is ok.
- Clean installation of Windows (Windows 10) and scanning for corrupted system files.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny 2 and Epic Games.
- Verified Destiny 2 files.
- Updated drivers, including graphics card.
- Try starting the game as administrator.
- Only 2 or 3 programs in the background (Headphone Software, Keyboard Software and sometimes Discord).
- Disabled Nvidia Experience and Discord Overlay.
- Reinstalled Battleye and running as administrator
And more things I probably forgot. I've tried pretty much everything.
In the Windows Event Viewer at least the last 2 times right around the same time the crash happened I see these types of events:
File system filter 'BEDaisy' (10.0, 2024-04-05T01:17:10.000000000Z) successfully loaded and registered with the filter manager.
The game doesn't show any errors on its own, only once I got a BattleEye window (hence again I think it's because of something like this) and that it had blocked a DROPBOX .dll file. I don't know how it affects it but I even uninstalled Dropbox just in case. It still does it.
The truth is that it's quite annoying because it's happening to me almost daily and there are days that it happens several times. As I said, I don't have any problems with other games. I have the same programs installed as when I didn't get the error (even less because I've been uninstalling). I don't know if it was because of a Destiny update or some driver...
Needless to say, I more than meet the game's specifications:
Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF 3.60 GHz
RAM: 32GB 6200MHz CL36
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 8GB
Does this happen to anyone else? I accept any help or advice, I understand that it has to come from something.
Thanks in advance.

I think most of us are reserved to just deal with relaunching the game all the time at this point. I don't think there is enough noise about the issue for Bungie to invest in actually finding the problem. It might very well be an nvidia conflict, but they aren't going to fix it either. Not unless Bungie calls them out on it. Compounding the issue is the fact there is not an error, or error code produced for Bungie to even know this is as widespread as it is..... I play a lot of other games, and I have not seen this issue with any of them. In fact D2 used to not, until final shape launched, so I honestly think it's on Bungie end.. Either way I think we are stuck with it... unfortunately.

Yep, same exact issue. Every time I see it online it seems to be an issue with how Destiny interacts with Nvidia's RTX GPUs at least, since Nvidia RTX 4000 drivers are the common denominator every time this happens. I've been waiting for an actual response on how to fix this without the automated "hey have you tried updating your drivers!!" AI garbage.

1 답변Same here, been like this since final shape (everyone on my day 1 raid team has it as well) Seems to take 6-10 hours of the game running nonstop for it to happen.
I don't get a blue screen but the game crashes.
The game freezes and its like you are looking at a screen shot of D2. Everything is fine, windows is fine, can even launch other games all while D2 is like a screen shot and stuck. Intel 13700k RTX 4080 32G ram Windows 11 (yes every driver is up to date)
