Target-attraction (or whatever it is) needs to be fixed
Examples of problem:
- Throne-Cleaver (Titan heavy sword) to swing at the enemy in front of player instead lunging at an enemy BEHIND them.
- Spin of Falling Guillotine (heavy sword) dragging player off-target/out of position -- and sometimes off ledges. Unable to spin in place.
- Punching an enemy 90-degrees off-axis and -screen. (This also shut down my powered melee due to 'arming range'.)
- Continuous fire on a Cabal Thresher being broken because ADS and non-ADS tracked the exiting Cabal.
Whatever the proper term for this is, it needs to be restricted to your targeting reticle at minimum and a forward arc at most for melee, and a toggle (or slider) for guns.
NOTE: The Thresher example reminds of a "Warframe" problem I never got a straight answer for. During FFYL (="Borderlands" ref), your camera will inexplicably hit the stop on one side, resulting in a perpetual spin; fighting the stick to the opposite side does nothing, but after bleedout it works like nothing happened. It's basically that.
For at least one of your issues id recommend key binding your powered and unpowered melees separately. This can be done on pc and controller. It was one of the best things i ever did.
