Around when Destiny 2 became free on Stadia, I played a TON of it on my old Pixel and Chromebook. It wasn't the best experience but it worked. Around nearing the time of the shut off of Stadia, I set my cross save option to "Stadia & PC", assuming I'd have the proper hardware at the time, however I was wrong. I didn't get proper D2 hardware until 2022, a small poor computer that could run it at all low, but before that, I actually played on the Xbox One (which I still do with the One X), and I played through the MS Store one as well, so I made more progress on the MS version. I've had thoughts about disabling cross save and waiting the 90 day period to enable it again, but as weird as it may sound, I really, really REALLY don't want to lose my Stadia badge. I don't even know if you can even link a Google or Stadia account to your Bungie account anymore. It's kinda a nice memory for me, when I started learning with old friends. Is Stadia still an option for cross save (I mean only the profile login/linking, not the game itself)? Should I just keep my progression on MS platforms and not even bother turning Cross Save off? Id just like to keep the Stadia badge.
