Cross Save for Steam not loading characters from XBOX
I waited the 90 days to load my Steam account from XBOX. I uncross saved because I thought I would change my primary cross save to Steam. Now I know Bungie does not allow you to change the primary and I was locked out, but now I can reconnect and Bungie is saying I do not have characters on my Steam account. Should have all DLCs on both XBOX and Steam. Here are screenshots from my Steam.

FIXED ... want to know the answer? you cannot re-authenticate ONE, you have to re-authenticate them ALL.. including that EPIC one we all created for the cute emblems? yeah. that one also had to be cross saved again and when i authenticate the EPIC one i cannot use my sign in but use my Steam account as the sign in as i did originally... only after ALL accounts are re-authenticated will the "continue" button allow you to continue yeah. if you ever want to make a nightmare for someone, tell them to "clean up" their cross save for the account they're not using. best part of this whole ordeal is how it worked out to be the date that it is. can i get a witness?

there are 3 steps to cross save... the continue button to go to step 2, which is select characters, is greyed out for me. this is why it keeps resetting because i cannot continue. this is why there is no way to connect my characters for Steam. here are the screenshots https://x.com/ThePrudentRebel/status/1833881050033918386

90 days ago when this all happened, someone told me just to wait out the 90 days and my Steam will cross save XBOX characters again and all will be fine. just DO NOT MAKE NEW CHARACTERS ON STEAM cause i would lose my XBOX characters.... that's why i have not made new characters because the cross save is suppose to carry the XBOX characters over. XBOX is the primary, and only working, account at the moment. XBOX was my original account and that can NEVER be changed. Period. therefore those XBOX characters should be cross saving over the Steam but they are not. there is an issue with Cross Save. every time i sign in i am prompted to re-authenticate with cross save because cross save is not working.

2 답변left my PC to do some stuff and came back to check my Bungie account again. the cross save was not showing that i was connected again... so, i reconnected the XBOX and the Steam and the Steam is still not loading the XBOX characters from Cross Save... most likely i will sign in again later only to see that none of my cross saves are authenticated again. here is the screen shots of 1. showing cross save needed authentication for all accounts... 2. i authenticated XBOX... 3 i authenticated Steam and it's still not loading the XBOX characters onto Steam https://x.com/ThePrudentRebel/status/1833870547349840378

It just means that the linked Steam account has not had characters created and played using that platform as an active save file.
