I watch a video on You-Tube discussing on how advanced AI has become and acting like real people. There are countless fake AI accounts the only way you can tell is misspelled words and using some ones selfie pics which we all do but there famous star pics, it is pretty disturbing that they will have a normal conversation with you also and agree and disagree with you on anything, I think AI has been around for at leased the last 10 to 20 years. I don't know if I'm texting to a normal person or AI. What are your thoughts, and here is a poll is AI good or bad.

1 답변I’m an artist, a voice actor, a gamer, and a content creator. Trust me when I say I don't want AI in any of those fields.

18 답변If misspelled words are the way I convince you I'm an actual person and not an AI, I suppose you're going to operate on the assumption that's what I am. Misspelled words irritate me to a spectacular degree, so much so that if I have even an inkling that Spellcheck missed it, I'll do a search to verify it before I post something. Blame my English teacher aunt for that one.

It depends on what AI is being used for. I know from experience that generative AI can help when you have no one to talk to and you just need to vent, but it’s a slippery slope with that. Also, AI art and writing steals from actual artists and writers and is bad.

AI has helped me understand myself, worked up my courage to start interacting more, entertained me, and relit two dead passions. It's also absorbed a lot of my free time and is dangerously close to being an addiction. I'm going to go with good. It did more to help me than like seven different therapists over twenty years.

4 답변I couldn’t really care less. It’s not that big of an issue. AI art is looks terrible, and no one actually respects it, so it’s not worth getting mad over. AI writing is boring and lifeless. It is not a threat and will never replace human creativity.

2 답변작성자: Cultmeister 9/7/2024 6:17:00 AMI don’t think AI is actually as advanced as we think it is in terms of the broad kinds of communication we have on the internet. For example, an AI wouldn’t necessarily understand memes or humour. For specific things AI is genuinely already as good or even better than humans at, but if you had more than a five minute conversation with one I think it would be pretty obvious that they were only imitating someone and/or taking responses from a pool rather than genuinely responding to you. A human can be funny AND be able to paint hands, at the minute AI can barely do either of those things. Having said that, AI doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be good enough often enough that the layman doesn’t question it.
