The updated policy is specifically for automating gameplay for loot and afk/idle timer avoidance. It wont be specifically the software they're looking for, but the actions being done while the software is running. Ie are you running the same loop with the same input timings etc This will be unlike cheat tools where specific software can trigger an instant ban for being open while D2 is running.
