Impossible for a game like Destiny to benefit from PvP

I may not be keen on it outside of the occasional match or three and I really don't buy into the whole "PvP keeps the game alive!" rhetoric but I also recognize the necessity of having it in the game. I would just prefer if it didn't have a negative impact on PvE. I also know some will likely spout off about separate sandboxes but tell that to my radar when it goes to [Radio Edit] every time I use invisibility in PvE.

I personally think the game would benefit more without pvp just due to the fact they wouldn't have to balance or nerf anything just to make it more fair for pvp. Similar to how the first descendant is currently handling their stuff of trying to only buff under preforming things instead of nerfing what is doing the best.
