Solstice Thoughts
So far, Solstice is not looking great. We now have to grind out bounties for armor resources for the bonfire bash. If you have three characters, 500 resource material is gonna be tedious to grind for.
The big upset are the challenges. I usually upgrade each event card. I am hesitant this go around. While not upgraded, my current rewards are a few enhancement codes, enhancement prisms, upgrade modules, and an exotic ship.
Usually, the event cards match the event in some way. Like completing challenges should earn us silver wings, and Solstice specific weapons. The event card didn't have any of that.
The armor sets look pretty horrible. This is not good at all. At least make the rewards better, or decrease the grind from 500 to 300 in resources.

But for new lights and others who don't know about the second tab to scroll over ONCE for "bright dust" purchase, it's confusing. Done purposely to get that money. Visually, they want you to see that $15 option ONLY first. To rush and buy it.

1 답변Yup. I did 300 resources (3 items) and decided to call it a day and quit playing Solstice. Armor doesn’t look good, and the way to acquire and imbue it is tedious and unfulfilling, reward challenges repetitive and unrewarding as well. Was hoping it would give us a LITTLE something to get excited about, but it just feels like another week in the middle of a mediocre-at-best season.

I logged on and went to the tower. Spoke to Eva and collected the solstice forge. Then went to the Eververse tab and bought the armour ornaments for bright dust. I wouldn’t have bothered with it if I had to grind it out. -

Erm, it was garbage years ago. I couldn't imagine bonfire bashes being any better years later. It's been lousy from the first time I played the event an I don't foresee it getting any better today. Whatever it may be, it's just another means o an end for a weapon, armour piece or XP/Triumph. The activity itself is IMO, just dull and not fun at all.

Don't forget how this is the fourth or fifth time where there is only one map for Bonfire Bash. Say what you will about Festival of the Lost just reusing Lost Sectors. At least there's four of them instead of just one.

2 답변Why put money into a game that is on its way out and only funds games that haven't even come out yet? I feel like Solstice upgrade should be free at this point.

1 답변As soon as I seen how grindy getting the armour was going to be, I turned on a different game, not going at that just to pad there play time to investors. Lol the new bow is alright, nothing I’m going to use, and the rest are just last years guns with a few new perks. Hard pass.

1 답변To be honest, I don’t mind it a lot since it’s solstice… but the armour is just horrible and I don’t mean just the way to obtain it, I mean the appearance Does anyone remember the solstice set from I think 2019, that to me is the best looking set we ever got and I am disappointed in myself for not being able to get it due to social anxiety, but these sets are just terrible to look at even with the glows
