Dear Bungie
There are many cheaters in the PC version of PvP.
Please check the reports from honest players and BAN cheaters from the game.
Last week at Trials of Osiris, I was matched with an obvious cheater.
What he did:
-Make Monte Carlo's rate of fire faster than Atheon's Epilogue
-Activate super in 2nd round
-Using Microcosm even though it is not a heavy round
Of course, I reported him as a hacker.
But he still cheats in Trials.
The current situation in the Asia region is particularly bad, and it is no longer viable as a game.
I'm sure Bungie staff are busy with so many reports, but please don't ignore them and take action.
Thank you.

Easy way to address cheaters, record it and send it to Bungie. Then file a lawsuit against Bungie for PTSD caused by cheaters in the game and make sure you have a doctor say you need video games for brain and nerve stimulation. Guarantee you will get results.

1 답변I think this is a complicated topic. 1. Some people are really good it appears like they are cheating. 2. People who teleport all over the map, I ask someone senior than me on game their opinion? He said it is not cheating because they have a bad internet so you can’t blame them for it so I understand. 3. Skill issue, I know very well I am very bottom level of skill in PVP and people I meet looks like they are cheaters, well they are just skilled for real. 4. Some people who are addicted to wins most of the time they do win and once they meet people with similar skill or above and they start loosing they start yelling it’s a cheater. So as long as you win it’s not cheating and if someone else is winning it’s a cheater. So my point is I think Bungie is doing their best and there is lots of false reports too.

1 답변You're too nice. This is a big problem on console too. You can't even play comp without running into input cheaters. Bungie laid off most of their security team last October and hasn't committed to stopping it. I hope more people cheat until they break the game and most people leave so Bungie will actually do something about it

2 답변작성자: Mortal_Resonance 6/30/2024 4:21:54 PM
Please check the reports from honest players and BAN cheaters from the game.
Honest players don't exist. Now before y'all form a mob, waving your sticks and claiming you're the most honest player ever, hear me out. Whether or not you're "honest" is of absolutely no consideration for Bungie, and it shouldn't be a consideration. An "honest" player is simply a player that doesn't cheat. But being "honest" doesn't mean you're right. It doesn't mean other players are cheaters. There are probably thousands of reports submitted every day for cheating that are false, and there are a myriad of reasons that one person thinks someone else is cheating when they're not. Player skill (actual, not perceived) is a huge factor. Meta loadouts can create big TTK differences. Some exotics allow you to shoot without aiming and provide other benefits. Ability uptime is different depending on loadout. Latency issues. The list goes on... Point being Bungie can't rely on reports as being the defacto method - they need to rely on ways to detect edited game attributes, aimbots, wallhacks etc. Because humans aren't always right. Plus some players report others because they can't accept that they're not as good as they think they are, so the other player must be cheating.

I could t agree more with you. Alas I firmly believe that with the amount of available third party devices, (you can’t name them. Bungo like to ban people for that, even if it’s in the context of complaining about their use. How pathetic) as well as pc mods etc that Bungie know their player base would be decimated if they somehow could ban the “cheats”. It’s not just D2 I’d say it’s the majority of PvP based games now. I watched a certain streamer doing fun events for there YouTube channel on Overwatch. When he does things like PC vs Console players. (They’re a good community) but he has to stipulate that the console players are NOT using their (third party devices). It’s too out of hand now for Bungo to resolve. But I’d have far more respect for them they’d acknowledge the problem instead of burying their heads in the sand like they always do.

If Bungie developers play tested in public events. Also if developers were assigned to feedback. Maybe more focus would be on playability with lag and unofficial mods. The current method relying on a single security application that has proven to be flaky is a crutch at best. There is a reason many players are salty. Hard to stay positive when those that don’t care far exceeds those that do.

they say that they can’t track K ro ( nos ) ... it’s beneficial for them from an online point of view (in fact, only cheaters play pvp, I’m not talking about everyone who did bounty, but now they are gone, there are fewer random players and you see more and more of those who only plays pvp and he's a cheater)

There are now videos of PvE content for 'Solo, flawless this and that...' and you notice from some accounts that: Health bar generates automatically to 50% when it's almost too low (nope, no orbs or enemies killed to get a buff like devour, etc, in play). They take a boss stomp at .001% of red heath and survive. They can change their inventory while in open in almost zero health and still survive while taking fire. These are new kinds of things I've seen. PC is complex minefield and there are anti-anti-cheats that really make things hard for developers. I guess Bingie doesn't care for the moment as they probably don't have resources to fix stuff. Unless it's something which helps majority of players to bypass something in the game then it's fixed overnight.

Tbh idk how bungie cant implement something as simple as : you have heavy in a non heavy round or super at the first or second round. Matchs ends, and the player with the ammo gets suspended, then banned if it happens more times.

3 답변작성자: Rastaman (GRANDMASTER) 6/30/2024 11:46:43 AMAll the streamers that play pvp in any game are on pc .. Now how can you know for sure that not every single one of them is cheating so they can compete with the top . Having skills is one thing . Using it against players with cheats is another thing . But others don't wanna be at a dissadvantage . Why choose the hard way if you can join them , right ? Streamers can do whatever tf they want , it is not like they are gonna get banned for cheating ...

1 답변작성자: Fenrir's Heart 6/30/2024 3:18:14 PMI've seen it all. Unlimited hacked machine gun was the worst. However, most cheaters are more subtle. Aimbot, invincibility frames, wall hacks. Way more common than people think.

The staff being busy with so many reports is not the actual problem. The game going from a full-priced game to the new light system is what caused the problem of the cheater getting out of control in this game. It doesn't matter what PvP game anyone plays, cheaters will always be something a lot of gamers will have to deal with because the developers allowed it to get out of control. They will never be able to stop cheaters, but there are actions they can take to slow the amount down. It's all a matter of whether they want to take action or not. You will rarely hear about a developer taking real actions to slow it down because cheaters are a profit as well 🤷♂️

My last attempt at trials had a guy that every kill was a headshot and no matter what he did it was always headshots and my favorite was when he fired 8-9 sniper shots in the second round and I know he had more as he reloaded after all the shots

1 답변How about those advertised paid services that show up here? I still get PM about that, and some of those accounts have been active for months. Bungie clearly is not doing anything about this
