Will you be putting money into Destiny 3 (if there is D3)
Just a discussion
Because the Mods are vary pick about their rules, in order to not break any rules [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/1085660/discussions/0/4410794585809149657/]I have previously broken another rule to simply ask a question[/url] because there are not other channels to ask questions. I am trying my best to follow the rules but they are not clear. According to Mod The One They Call Dante, I was directed to make this topic here. (jesus... I feel like a lawyer just to ask a simple question...)
Now that that is cleared up. What are your thought on a possible Destiny 3, and will you be putting money into it?

작성자: High Charity 7/1/2024 10:59:47 PMLet's earnestly make a couple of assumptions, ignoring the "this post should go in #Destiny" part (steam mods are not Bungie Ninjas lol) 1) We don't even know what Frontiers is, but we do know it's at least supposed to be for D2, and that's 2025 2) We saw 12 sparks released from the Traveler, and can likely assume those are echoes 3) Assuming a cadence of 3 episodes per year, with 12 echoes and no annual DLC, we get 4 more years of D2 4) That puts us at 2028-2029 (dev time, let players enjoy their things, etc) as the earliest possible release for D3, assuming there is no DLC that pushes things back further

Maybe? Ive been playing since vanilla D1 and since then ive pretty much just assumed I'd get whatever expansions they put out. Now though, I've been taking a break from destiny for a while after getting frustrated over the acquisition method for the exotic class items. Have barely touched the game since then and have just been keeping an eye out for updates that might change my mind and bring me back. For me the deciding factor will be how solo/casual-friendly things end up being. If too many things (except raids & GM's) are going to require me to lfg, mic up with Randoms and memorize a bunch of call outs and whatnot... then I'm probably just done.

작성자: Tic-toc26 6/29/2024 8:25:51 PMPersonally, I don't think I will, unless at least one of the following happens (I bet none of these will happen) -Destiny (1) comes to Steam -All previous Destiny 2 content becomes available again (they wouldn't do this for free and making us pay for curse of Osiris again wouldn't be good) -Destiny 2 gets Linux support. FFS Battle eye dose supports Linux why not use it? They're just pissing off a group of people for no good reason, or at the vary least tell us why? If all 3 happen I would actually be surprised and happily continue on with Destiny 3. But going off the the track record, I don't think were getting that future.
