Content Streamers during week one of Final Shape..."Oh My God, Bungie 10/10"! Then by week 4..."WTH Bungie, fix your game". Then this right here..."This build is op/meta"! Bungie...please nerf so and so....

I think that the only reason so many people praised bungie for the final shape was because we were in a content drought and the past year was full of Meh, content so people needed this to be a 10 out of 10, but realistically the content was probably worse than lightfall. I mean the story was full of plot holes, all the puzzles slowed the pace down and lost whatever momentum they did build, the post campaign missions were good, prismatic is all style no substance, exotic class items were a bust, and the pale heart is a boring grind pit. Also the new "episodes" model is awful.

1 답변They're just lying for cash. Nothing new. Ignore the streamers. Why people want to listen to people who've never had a job is beyond me.

5 답변My favorite: "the dual destiny mission is fine, omg get gud, use in game LFG, its NOT that hard, too bad for solo players but IF you want the exotic you will make a friend" Changed to "come to MY stream for Dual Destiny Carries, join MY Discord and sub to me for channel points so you can win a raffle and maybe be carried/helped though the mission" wow, the content streamers might have actually MADE PROFITS from Bungie forcing the mission to be 2 players. Hmmmmmmmmmm

LOOOOOL! they’re so pathetic. just wait till the “i’m tired content” because they’re not actually having fun. it’s a job for them and not a fun job either. final shape is trash and they hyped it to maintain their diminishing fan base.

For all of the philosophical, moral compass, Yoda comments. This was not to ridicule or diminish what content streamers bring to any game. It was merely to point out the emotional gaming Rollercoaster ride they solicit after a new DLC drops. I really enjoy the comments/feedback.

1 답변Both things can be true. The overall experience has been incredible but the long term health of the game is dependent on this feedback, especially since what happens in these next few weeks/months will have a drastic result on who is staying on this ship and who is content leaving on a high note before it all goes downhill again. You can simultaneously say something is good and still point out its flaws. Does Khvostov and Speaker’s Sight being busted in PvP make the Final Shape suddenly terrible? No. But if they go untouched for too long it will destroy the PvP community. Are all the Hunter builds in PvE ruining the game? No, but if they are untouched, the other two classes (but especially Titan) will continue to have little reason to exist in endgame content, which will drive away the mains of these classes. We can go on and on. We had our period where we can praise Bungie for what they did right and encourage them to keep up the precedent they’ve just set but now we have to look forward and address the things that didn’t land quite right.

13 답변작성자: The Hermit IX 6/24/2024 7:44:36 PMWhat? Cross just released a video showing the top 3 games atm while discussing GotY. D2 FS being in that group of games everywhere. Wishing things to be bad doesn’t make them bad. Regardless if it’s a content creator or a player. It also shows how absurdly out of touch a small group of malcontents are on these forums.

Bungie...please nerf so and so....[/quote] Here’s the thing: content creators are human just like the rest of us. Unlike most of us, however, for better or worse, this game is directly tied to how they earn a living. When a new update, expansion or DLC drops, they see massive upticks in viewership, and by extension, see more money via ad revenue. Obviously, this only further fuels their excitement since they’re making bank. Bungie also profits from this since content creators basically act as a marketing team to push the purchase of the expansions, Eververse items, etc. Once the content gets old or is no longer fun for whatever reason though, viewership declines as does their earnings. Content creators get annoyed and publicly criticize Bungie which typically results in some sort of reaction from devs to appease them. The remainder of the community, for the most part, then gets annoyed at Bungie for empowering content creators to control the direction of the game. This is the cycle that just keeps going and going. It’ll never change either. Not hating on, or defending the actions of, content creators. Just calling it like I see it 👍

1 답변작성자: Darth Derrr (Defiled) 6/24/2024 9:08:44 PMThey have to have sensationalized content or people won't watch. It's that simple... However, keeping this in mind, why does ANYONE care what they say with some of the grand opinions?

Good content, that deserves praise, doesnt make issues go away, that have plagued the game forever. These include power creep, an unbalancable sandbox and countless issues with netcode and bugs - most prominently the invisibility bug, that makes character models transparent.
