1 답변Dual Destiny is easy. Very easy. Too easy. There needs to be a GM one with Champions, a shorter timer and 3 perks

17 답변작성자: vxvxTITANxvxv 6/23/2024 1:50:08 AMI haven’t tried it yet, but I’m sure the mission is fine. 🤷♂️ They just shouldn’t have tied the class item to it. A lot of players were looking forward to enjoying the new armor piece without having to jump through a bunch of unnecessary hoops.

9 답변I just think it's funny how people are out here saying that it's the best mission in the game and yadda-yadda-yadda yet are super concerned about gatekeeping the reward at the end from solo players. One would think that if it's such a good mission they'd just play and shut the hell up about it. The truth is that they don't give a crap about the mission, they just see it as an accomplishment - because of the reward. And if you can get the reward elswhere it'll lose value to them.

I'm definitely on the side of things where I wish the class item wasn't locked behind this sort of content, but personally I'm all for bungie making new kinds of activities. If a piece of gear is fundamental to the experience of an entire subclass that should probably be a bit more accessible to all- especially when that piece of gear is functionally 60+ exotic armor pieces all in one.

81 답변I'd like to ask a question that probably won't be answered truthfully ( if there are any answers) I'm not targeting PC players, I'm using PC as an example. It could apply to any platform. How would you feel if you were tempted to buy the new DLC based on new exotic class items and a new quest, did all the preliminaries to gain access to the quest, only to find out that it was only accessible on a console? There's so much hypocrisy in this community, it's unreal. A lot of people defending the dual quest quite rightly say, that Destiny has never been a solo game, and that nothing has ever been designed for solo players. So how come there are special emblems for soloing activities, and also seasonal quests? And then you have the people who were absolutely raging on day one because of the server issues not letting them log on, but then exclaim in the next breath, that it's the best season that's ever been launched. The latest complaints, probably by the same people who have highly defended the dual quest, are regarding the terrible drop rates of the exotic class items, some players complaining they have done 50 plus runs and still haven't gotten the stats they were farming for. You really think solo players will support these complaints when they have been chastised over something that they are unhappy with?

5 답변I’ve not ran it yet but from the videos I’ve seen it doesn’t look too bad. I’m not very social so having to find someone on lfg that can tolerate running with me looks like the worst part.

1 답변Dual Destiny is an incredible mission! However, I would like to see Bungie offer alternative activities for solo players to obtain the exotic class items.

18 답변Yes, exotic missions should never have raid mechanics. A diabolical decision by Bungie. Grinding three overthrows and killing the bosses should have been enough. The mission should have been used for focusing a specific roll.

3 답변I notice that the people saying how awesome it is never say why. Just that it is. I personally see this mission as boring. Same as raids, just the Bungie classic of "Do it this way, and this way only, and by the way if you don't nail all the mechanics you get nothing." If this was a mission that could be completed multiple ways then I would be singing it's praises. It's not that I cannot do it, I have done Dungeons and Raids before. Or that I don't like playing with other people. I do. I am more comfortable on mics than most due to a career in aviation where I spent all my time talking on freqs. So that isn't an issue. The mission, to me, just look like a bunch of boring sets of mechanics and time gated bosses. I have sat browsing LFG a few times, because I would genuinely like to see what these class items can do, but I have never joined or created a fireteam for Dual Destiny. Mates have told me they enjoyed it. Encouraged me to try it but I just cant be bothered. It is not something I am going to enjoy. I don't really enjoy Dungeons or Raids. I like being able to chose how I play, how I approach things. Ultimately not everyone is going to enjoy it. And that's okay.

46 답변I can't! At least for such an important item for a build! I gave it a couple of tries and my impression of it is that it felt more like a 2 man mini raid. You need to know the Witch Queen raid symbols for the call outs which are small and really fuzzy for my old man eyes while trying to fight off mobs of thralls and such. Muffed the door before the boss room on the last try, 99% sure it was me not grasping the mechanics, got sent to orbit (how I hate timers), thanked the guy helping me, and logged out. Overall its a love/hate exotic quest. For me, I stuck it out for the 10 years but with the direction Bungie has taken Destiny this last year, I think they just sent me the calling card telling me its time to move on.

2 답변I'll change your mind with ease! They should have adapted the activity with options for solo, 2 people, or 3 people through difficulty. I just wish they put in far more content because this seasonal model is too bland. Thanks.

24 답변Dual destiny, as a mission, is pretty good, and should absolutely be a thing. I just think the class item should have been a campaign thing, being as its pretty important to the prismatic subclass and solo players that cant or wont engage with it, for whatever reasons, should definitely not be kept from such an integral part of this expansion.
