I have had 16 motes for a while and have continued to do overthrows to try and get the last mote. The meatball spawned and I killed him and went back to orbit only to see still 16 motes but now it became “shiny” like I got a new mote. So now I’m still doing different overthrows and have gotten meatball since with no luck. Hopefully it randomly drops one day from something.
