1. I feel like the other “bad guys” in the Destiny 2 universe/ story, wouldn’t both saving a clone of the Witness. If he/ they are gone, that probably shows that we guardians/ and allies are strong enough to kill them again.
Also the “bad guys” saving his clone, might not want to be ruled by him again. They could also take their own shot at being in control.
2. Yes I think it would make TFS/ any content afterwards, not as meaningful. If TFS is the end of the Light and Dark Saga, and a lot more content is going to happen afterwards, bring back the Witness would I think drag us back to the Light and Darkness saga.
Instead of letting us move on and experience new idea/ content. If the game continues for a long while afterwards, I think it would make it hard to add on, if you’re always just bringing back old enemies.
3. Yes, I thought it was annoying and lame to bring the Empire back again. Even more so for another 3 films, just like he was in the original 3 movies.
I hope the expanded universe movies actually bring more and new content/ storylines/ threats/ enemies into the universe. It would be nice to move away from the Skywalker storyline, since it’s been done forever.
