Perhaps a different tack is needed rather than questioning someone's skill so how about this: Instead of creating a post claiming that an activity that's a day or less old is overtuned, make some practice attempts; no one is expected to complete it on their first try.
Zero Hour will be available for three weeks after which it'll likely be moved to the Exotic Rotator. What would the game be like if everyone finished everything their first try, on the first day, solo? Boring as hell and people would next be making posts about how they have nothing to do because they'd have done it all already.
Challenge is a good thing; it gives us something to overcome. Otherwise, it holds no value.

I'm not justifying anything, why are you giving meaning to my post that wasn't there? Let's play a game of hypotheticals; if the difficulty were where it's supposed to be, can you honestly claim that posts complaining about the difficulty wouldn't still have inundated the forum? Not this one specifically, but just in general. And do yourself a favor, be honest, because you'd only be fooling yourself otherwise.
-
look bud, im not a major forum warrior like you. god forbid I have to talk to some of you through such a vivid form like the English language on a post about Destiny 2, but here I am, curiosity killing the cat at the moment. the reason why people inundated the forums about this, was because it was a bug, you can see that by comparing and contrasting the "Normal" and "Legend" difficulties, it is usage of empirical evidence to prove the point. Pantheon is hard for example, I don't see anyone crying about it, do you? HELL no, because its meant to be hard, things that are meant to be hard will be hard, "Normal" Zero Hour is not on that list big man.
-
Against my better angels, I'm going to respond. I have been trying Zero Hour on normal and solo. And as I suggested to the OP in my original comment, I went from my first run ending just past the fan section to my fourth run earlier tonight ending by timing out against the boss. With the unintentional Legend difficulty. 4 runs, and I've improved; even managed to pick up the triumph for getting by TR3-VR without dying. So, my point stands; practice and improve, the mission doesn't have to be completed on the first try on the first day, solo. Any other words of wisdom, Master Samurai?
-
Yeah, I got a few. The mission doesn't HAVE to be, but it sure as hell SHOULD be considering the stable state of The Whisper mission. I don't care if you're getting better and training up dude, "practice and improve" is not the right mindset for a free to play mission, something that a genuine monkey can play if they can navigate the director.
-
No, you weren't correct, you improving has nothing to do with other people or me, you bash your head into a wall thats not supposed to exist. Genuinely what is wrong with you? Just because you are doing something that is not of the norm, doesn't mean everyone else should follow you and your words like a sheeple. Believe me, I PLAY this game, and Zero Hour was just a mere inconvenience. I think you forget some people just want their crafted exotic, and I can see why a Legend difficulty on a Normal mode is annoying. Not everyone is a masochist like you, not everything needs to be a headache so the masses have to practice for hours of attempts for something that isn't meant to be remotely as difficult on the first attempt.
-
No, I should be someone who's not speaking to you, and instead reporting bugs and supporting the game I love. But here I am, stupid me. You fail to have the ability of comparing and contrasting basic similar content, which shows where the seriousness and intelligence actually is. Know the game before you talk about it.
-
No, you are remarkably dense. The OP used the Zero Hour mission as an example, and I was making a general statement about the game and the response from players overall while using that same example. But you seem to have a myopic view that one mission is the only application in which my original comment applies and demonstrates once more that you aren't to be taken seriously. This time, I am genuinely done with you.

작성자: Samurai 5/17/2024 12:11:18 AMI am comparing The Whisper and Zero Hour missions, as they are the most comparable. You act like "The Whisper" as a mission was never stated in the argument. The OP used Zero Hour because it is UNINTENTIONAL. It genuinely scares me that a human fails to comprehend the OP that he refers to. The challenge wouldn't be removed if it was FIXED; it is still there in the Legend difficulty. I think there should be room for the casuals when it comes to a free-to-play exotic mission, rather than them busting their balls to complete a mission that was nowhere near as difficult at the time. I haven't seen a single person on this forum complain about having nothing to do as of recently. Here, let me actually quote YOUR original post, "Instead of creating a post claiming that an activity that's a day or less old is overtuned, make some practice attempts; no one is expected to complete it on their first try". Clearly, based on your own words, you think that there is something wrong with reporting a genuine bug, and instead you choose to synonymize the "skill issue" comments by telling those to "practice and improve" But please, stop speaking, I couldn't care less :)

작성자: Skully 5/15/2024 6:59:21 PMI’m not saying it shouldn’t be challenging. But like, if Bungie were to just add 5 more minutes or so to the timer, then that would do perfect. Basically means you aren’t forced to use something like Strand’s Grapple. Like if you literally have to do skips just to succeed, then that is 100% overtuned.

I'm inclined to disagree because it's designed for a team of 3 but can be completed by a solo; after all, it has been in both cases. If solo players utilize methods that save them time enough to get through it, then I'd say it was intended for that to be allowed. That's really no different than anything else, you find a strategy that optimizes your run and go with it. Hence my suggestion for practice runs, to learn from previous attempts and find the best methods to advance.

Solo can often times be easier than in a team, believe it or not. You can control the way adds respond and where they will move to. Sure your firepower is down and you ain't got no one to help you out if things go wrong, but that's part of the challenge.
-
It's not as bad as you'd think. You can move the adds to an easier position to kill them off if you don't have to worry about them changing angles on you. They are ONLY focused on you and will always try and use the most direct route to get to you, use this to your advantage. It really makes things a bit easier. When there's two other people with you the adds tend to go all over the place. I find it messy and taxing on the brain to keep track of them all.

Well, in the interest of full disclosure, I do have the triumph for a solo completion of Shattered Throne although I don't know why I got it since I know for a fact that it wasn't the case. I even made a post about it when it happened in the event that it was a bug, but it was never corrected. 🤷♂️ The Tex Mechanica emblem, would that be for Spire of the Watcher?

작성자: Skully 5/15/2024 7:34:23 PMLol, so you got a free solo completion of Shattered Throne? I mean, can’t complain about that. And ye, Spire. Can’t even count the amount of attempts it took, especially at that godd*mn final boss. I also refuse to touch Ghosts of the Deep with a solo flawless run. Warlord’s Ruin, I could possibly try, though really dunno how successful I’d be.
