Finding Archie
How can anybody new to the game (without being a cheat and going online) possibly find Archie. The first step is an oblique reference to a quest seasons ago to find a fireplace and bird. You expose yourselves as clearly making a game for the experienced and not anyone new.

So it puts in obscure clues from seasons past the content creators can solve. Or people like me can recall. Those starting this year are hugely disadvantaged though and ideally need to go online. Sure they can and they can trapse around an entire map searching but why are they a second class citizen. Me asking for clues even the newest of players can solve has absolutely triggered some. Here’s a thought to cater for the experienced and newer players. Have more in the clues. Sure … for example reference the loot cave in the cosmodrome the experienced will figure out in two words or the chimney in the EDZ but also give the newer players more so they can figure it out on their own. Just a thought.

49 답변Well, if they happen to be playing Destiny 2 then they have access to the internet, which in turn has countless methods at their disposal for finding such information. This seems like a post made simply as an excuse to rage about something very trivial.

2 답변Why would anyone new even care who Archie is if they never even did the original quest for him in the first place? They wouldn't even know about the damn quest unless someone told them or they looked it up.

19 답변You must have a lot of free time to be able to create a non existing problem to try and be a champion to all the new lights , but oddly enough I don’t see anyone thanking you for the courage you have shown us in your fight for easier clues The game does not need to have everything be about new lights there are plenty of things for them to do . This is more for the veterans who would actually know who Archie is 🤔 If they like yourself have an issue finishing the quest and refuse to look up help y’all can go die on the hill if you like , others will just simply finish it and move on and giggle at post like this ❄️

1 답변Respectfully, this quest line is nothing but nostalgia bait. That is the point. The rewards are just novelties. Don't feel bad about looking up a guide if you didn't play the Hawkmoon quest or Red War. The moon quest goes even further back and references D1. This is meant to be a small, fun, walk down memory lane for veteran players as the franchise prepares for the final expansion.

4 답변Is there anyway they can make a scavenger hunt without references to locations that many new/returning players will not know? Sure they can just put a literal description of the location but then it’s not really a hunt and is it really any different if it’s Bungie giving you the exact location vs some random video? The point is that it’s supposed to be a vague description that you only know if you know and do some quick deductions: that’s how scavenger hunts work. If you don’t like that, look it up: it will net you essentially the same experience as if Bungie just put a marker on your map.
