Every other vendor in the game either allows a rank reset, or you can continue to earn engrams past the "max" rank. His rep and reward track work the same as Fynch or Nimbus, where you gradually unlock rewards but then "max out". But unlike them, you just stop earning engrams at the max rank? What is the point of that?
It's supposed to be a super rewarding game mode, but at some point the more you play it, the LESS rewards you earn? There's no point in doing his daily bounties after you hit max rank either.

Don't think he needs too be reset, just think we should be able to still get exp/rep with him to get engrams. Like fynch and nimbus.

Bungie posted an 8 tweet long tweet a few hours ago about this exact issue, Shaxx was never meant to reset and they aren't going back on that decision, what they are doing is guaranteeing us 2 weapons at the end of a 50 wave run, so basically they heard the feedback and said "just increase the reward drops that will make them shut up"

Its a bug, didn’t happen with Xur in the treasure hoard either. Yes it’d be fun but that would make farming engrams easy. Why? Because I got to rank 17 in just a few hours, 3-4 at most. If you get an extra …(i forgot how many so ill guess) 12 engrams from just that every 3-4 hours thats extra shinies and Bungie would hate that. Currently Bungie likes the way people are playing 150-450 waves of Onslaught and Legend Onslaught just to get 0 shiny drops. Looks real good on their report to Sony.

Its been what a week and half? Why would you need to reset his rank already? Or did you do exactly what bungie time gated the weapons for? So you sped through the content available and maxxed out the vendor and now complaining "theres no point". last i checked, theres still 8 weapons that havent even been released. So....

I only do 10-20 waves on regular and have to keep going back to tower to retrieve engrams., which 60% are the weapons and perhaps 30 % shiny’s. Not sure if legend is bugged. But for me, i dont have a reason to do legend., as the drops are more than sufficient for me on regular.

You earn one universal currency at every "vendor" and you can spend it on any vendors' exclusive items which is also reset/refreshed.. make it interesting and engaging. But the way it looks right now is Bungie is like: "...this was free guys.. so you know how we do the bare minimum viable product seasonally.. this is below that" <-- need a new term for this (minimum ICU product) We know its due to lack of resources... but how does that ever get changed around?

is it disappointing meh, I don't even think you need a fire team for this to reach level 50 at this point and you'll get 6 drops, unsure didn't count. Plus the extra coinage -10 for more at the chest. then you have the bounties that give you a chance at your god roll. then you have the next 50 run to complete that and get more. so 2 hours to get 12+ chances and then you can switch characters and do it all over again (if you run more than one) so not getting more rep at Shaxx, not the end of the world. If it we're like Nimbus and you gained more rep to get the one extra chance = meh

There's no way this is an oversight. Bungie have learned from way too many oversights to make one this obvious. This is an intentional decision to stop people from getting too many brave engrams just by playing. They want you to do the weekly bounties instead. They want you to do the weekly bounties and make sure you log in the next week to get the other brave engrams from the next weekly bounties.

There is no armor, the only drops are weapons, and you earn weapons through quests, milestones, and waves of onslaught. And you can attune weapons. Why would Shaxx rank be reset? Literally nk need.

I don’t know why people are saying shiny drops are so rare… I’ve done the first 10 rounds of Onslaught probably 5 times, so 50 rounds total. Between Engrams from Shaxx, Trophies, and the rounds, I’ve gotten 5 shiny drops. Mind you, like 3 of these were Hung Jury, so I actually deleted one of my shinys because I got a better roll, but regardless, I’ve had no problem with loot drops. Not saying Onslaught doesn’t have its kinks… I think reaching Wave 50 is stupid and should be substantially shortened, preferably to 30 waves and you get a guaranteed shiny drop. I also think that the scrap costs are outrageous and should be heavily reduced.

작성자: hoaxone 4/17/2024 11:20:31 AMFinch also dosent have a chest you can keep getting rewards for 10 coins. Essentially, if you play a full game of onslaught and do bonus objectives, u earn 10+ coins which is a weapon out the chest....kinda like a engram.
