Quitting a match should legit flag you a quitter as in, a huge banner displays above your game id that says “I’m a quitter” as well as penalize those by giving them a 2 hour penalty in which no crucible progress is made and no rewards are earned at the end of match. And 11 quitter “commendations” are automatically added to your score (essentially 1 for every player you abandoned) which displays on your bar as its unique color (black) so everyone can see what 💩tty player they are. And I mean 11 black “commendations” would rack up on your bar real fast and everyone could easily see the trash players.
The quitter flag and penalties would drop off 2 hours after the last match was abandoned OR if said player plays 10 matches (albeit with no rewards due to the penalty), which ever comes first.
For those who say, “what about disconnects?”
NO MERCY, get better internet if you’re playing multiplayer
Quitting a match should legit flag you a quitter as in……
Sorry.. tldr…. So, doesn’t Bungie bear some responsibility for forcing you into a losing game, especially without special ammo? This also means you won’t get a super when every other player will have one. And, you likely won’t get a super in that game. To mitigate this, Bungie should give the drop-in full special ammo and a super when dropped into a losing game mid way. Otherwise, leaving is not a problem… imho…

Glad you’re a hardliner and probably a PvP pro. With my abysmal KD if I get dropped into match that’s 80-3(which has happened)….sorry my dude….i’m leaving. I see how strongly you feel….vector that energy back to Bungie and the fact I got dropped into the crap show…..

I’m actually kinda bad at PvP, I wouldn’t lie about it since anyone can look up my stats 😂 I’m a PvE main. I just don’t quit. I also understand that matchmaking is awful on PC filled with cheaters and sweats. But the game does need a much stricter stance on quitters. And an actual human reviewing and banning cheaters. My PvP console experience has fortunately largely been neutral at least. No explicit cheaters and Yes sometimes I’m stuck fighting a losing battle against a stacked team but whatever’s. I do believe the game should Mercy matches more often and sooner. Like come on, I’ve experienced matches where we’re losing by over 100 points and no mercy 🤦♂️ There’s plenty Bungie can do to make the PvP experience better but quitters need to be held accountable too.

ABSOLUTELY quitters should be penalized. I don't know how many times I've lost a game because of a quitter or loaded in a losing game with no super and everyone is invisible. This game is a joke, I hope it dies in a year.
