I was creating my account as I just started playing Destiny 2. Game is GREAT. Halo, Borderlands, Call of Duty.. etc. Love the game so I’m like, “hey, let me go create an account” thinking it would pick up on my account I had during Halo 3. Didn’t care, I needed it for the companion app. Go into the site, start creating my account, link it to my Xbox. See numbers on my name? I’m like okay, maybe it’s like call of duty and I need to make sure both my name and my gamer tag match. I’m looking at the name, delete and add back my letter to see if the numbers go away. Nope. Delete a letter, see the save button and hit save thinking I can go back but longer story short, I changed my name and can’t get back what I had. After reading the support tabs info on name changes and only one being allowed… really. It was an accident but now I’m stuck with this? Is there anything I can do, Thanks for anyone -blam!- this, haven’t done this in a long time.
