It's Guardian Games. The winner doesn't remotely matter.
Yes, Bungie has come out and said they're putting their hand on the scale because Hunters were BTFO the other two classes, as they will literally always do without some sort of help for the other kids or ankle weights for the hunters. Just how it is.
As a hunter main, I'm really struggling to care about them propping up the other classes. Sure, it kinda defeats the purpose of Guardian Games, but are you really that hard after a gold class item (that looks like crap in any color)??
Bungie needs to give us much better reasons to care about their garbo events.

3 답변Hoverboard an new armor I can transmog is all I was bothered about yeh it's cool that 1 class gets gold plated armor but any d2 main plays all 3 characters so it's impossible to loose guardian games 😆 🤣

Well I wish I could join isle but I'm missing out on it due to family health issues and bungie is missing out on my money next year by not allowing me to buy the upgrade card ticket items and challenge card items next year with silver as I would if I had the ability as a compromise to those who got it for free. And class items with ingame currency I pit a feedback post about this bit I guess people care as little as bungie cares about the money they will make on me from the past gaurdian game items I missed oit on as well along with this years one. Actually 1 person did care and responded that they should do that. Hopefully you guys will respond to my most and say you like the idea and they should do ot

At the end of the day, no matter who wins, the statue in the tower tells the same story. Warlocks ride safely on the backs of the Titans, never a care in the world for what is going on beneath them... Titans allow it without being bothered cause they can easily bear the burden... Hunters remain crushed beneath the boots of the titans, unable to slither out from them despite their numbers or "superior whatever". And no matter who is colored gold one year to another...it's always the same subliminal message for all to see. Play for fun ppl...or don't play. After 10 long years if we don't understand that yet...the only ppl doing something wrong is ourselves.

1 답변Still cringe that they rig the outcome to manipulate the other classes feeling better and therefore being more inclined to buy stuff from the store. The entire purpose of these 1 to 1 recycled events is to sell overpriced cosmetics (60 bucks for armor sets for each class) Every single event. I hope people buy an actual good game for that pricetag instead of filling these guys pockets in exchange for ugly armor in a dying game.

1 답변Its astounding how badly people understand the reason behind needing to weight the efforts of the 3 different classes. Its pretty simple, more people by far play as a hunter, therefore, they have more people providing scores for the hunter class. Hunters are played by nearly 50% of the community as a main. Warlocka and Titans then play pretty close to about 25% each. It has nothing to do with subclass balancing at all, not even close. Simple numbers.

The games scoring *might* be interesting if they found a way to measure something like average actual performance. There are already scores in the game modes (seen at the end of strikes & matches). So take an average by class? I’d bet they’d be very close. But such a score probably wouldn’t be much different than some random monthly average score to date 🤷♀️

Speaking for only myself and the other couple players I still talk with, but none of us cared about the class items, the statue, or even beating the Hunters. All we were pissed about was the 2nd quickest way of securing the free exotic Skimmer being locked to playing for the Hunters. That said, Guardian Games was faulted from the start. Rather than forcing players to play one of the three classes (which Bungie already knew would be unbalanced), a different way of grouping players would have been better. Perhaps letting players claim a favorite Core Activity at the beginning of the games, and rotate the focused activity each day, encouraging players to play other modes while still repping Shaxx, the Drifter, or the Vanguard. You’d still get winner’s packages for winning/successful completions of activities, but animosity towards each other amongst the player classes is limited.

3 답변To be completely honest, I can't even remember the last time I played GG and I'm only playing it this year to get the skimmer, nothing else. As soon as I get it I'll stop playing it immediately. Which class wins it is completely irrelevant to me and I main a hunter.

As they haven't won in 2 years... Next year, warlocks will win... Then titans then hunters again. I'll never understand why hunters cry the most.

If Hunters are so huge that they have to intervene, and essentially weight the scales on something that's supposed to be like their version of Olympic competition, they've completely failed in basic class design. Maybe they need to figure out how to make the other classes and special exotic equipment for them, just as desirable for PvP instead. I thought that's their job. Just craziness.😂
