Blade Barrage > Nova Bomb?
The class specific supremecy mode during guardian games has truly revealed how painfully obvious it is that the devs don't know what they're doing.
How is it... that Blade Barrage, a "tier 4 super" that has the shortest cool down in the game, can also track multiple players & 1 shot them. But Nova bomb, which only hits multiple targets if they're standing close together... is tier 3 😂
I would LOVE to hear whatever goofy explanations y'all can provide here
Here's the super cooldown tier list for dummies like Sovereign001885 who don't actually know how the game works 🤦🏽♂️

8 답변Brother, Nova bomb tracks you into the next lobby then sleeps with your wife before busting that paracausual grape juice, vaporosing you and everything in a 5 mile radius then spawns its kids to wreck your -blam!- a second time. I dunno what youre doing wrong.

8 답변Nova bomb also has infinite range, better tracking, the explosion can go through some walls and after the explosion it releases individual tracking bolts that can also ohk and track multiple targets. I will say that I do believe vortex nova should get the tier 1 cool down

3 답변Blade barrage has the same cooldown as nova and has loose tracking while nova has strong tracking. Youre simply showing how little you know about this game and much people show ignore you because of your ignorance

I will agree nova bomb can be broken but I have had it pop from people shooting it before. But blade barrage is absolutely cracked. I would have to say hunters are more broken right now than warlocks and titans and the standings are showing it a little bit.

6 답변Because blade barrage needs to hit all blades to do max damage. Nova does all its damage in a 10 meter radius . Thats why.

Because hunters are designed to be as braindead-simple to play as possible. It's always been that way, it'll always be that way. All we can do is smile and wave, the game is dead after final shape. We're almost there.

1 답변Don't forget that shards are far better than skull. Skull hasn't even been touched since the original nerf, meanwhile hunters and their exotics have seen numerous buffs.

2 답변Blade Barrage has always been better… at least since Solar 3.0. Easily the best shutdown super in the game. It throws like 20 tracking knives and it only takes one to kill. That’s like if you could fire 10 Nova Bombs at once. But according to Bungie, that’s balanced.

I was asking myself the same question because blade barrage looks better in every way. But actually there is [i]something[/i]. Blade barrage has a little bit longer cast time, making survival a little bit harder. But that is the only downside I see with blade barrage and doesn’t justify it in any way imo

I see you on other people's replies trying to change the narrative of your post... but it's you complaining that a faster regenerating super has better tracking than a tier 3 super. Guess you don't know about nova bomb from spawn killing a team on the other side of map on a particular map that was removed huh??

2 답변Keep in mind how bad you'd have to be to miss with Nova Bomb, and yet how bad the lock on is with Blade Barrage. Warlocks even decided to carry the same issue over with their Dollar Store Blade Barrage. I will admit, some of the tier differences don't make sense, I am not justifying the difference here, but it wouldn't surprise me if things like that gave the reason why. BTW, that does make me think, what is Dollar Store Blade Barrage's cooldown? I haven't gotten that subclass for my Warlock yet.

That Nova is brutal in Mayhem. Politely disagree with you man.

Blade Barrage is almost garbage on console + can miss even if you targeted opponent. And Barrage is Tier 4. Tier 1 is the longest couldown. But yea, I think they both need to be Tier 3.
