Voltshot is independant of subclass and deals actual damage - the requirement to reload is absolutely justified.
Incandescent isn't worth it if you aren't solar as you gain a lot of ability energy through scorch.
The damage is pathetic, you barely ever see the exotic that triples its damage.
Single applications of volatile are incredibly useless.
Destabilizing rounds only deals relevant damage if a group of enemies hug each other and each one takes each one's explosion damage.
Given it has synergy with repulsor but outside of a Gyrfalcon hunter I have come to the conclusion to only bother with this in very specific cases.
Headstone is terrible if you aren't on stasis and even then does not cut it.
The same goes for hatchling on strand.
Voltshot always does what it does and to great effect.
Please leave it alone, it already saw a nerf.
