If they start telling us about how they’re dealing with cheaters, cheat companies would end up gaining valuable information on how to bypass the anticheat and future updates to their anticheat and game.

Cheat companies are FAR AHEAD in terms of technology then ANY gaming company out there. They also are efficient, well organized, and have plenty of dark money. To try to break them is the equivalent of facing the mob during probation. There are nearly untouchable and can continue even if they suffer losses.

The really funny thing is that bungie did their best to hit these cheating devs where it really hurts. Those high profile cheating lawsuits did a lot of work, but that was only to individual cheat developers. It worked, and severely set those people back, probably for the rest of their life, but there's just too many of them for that solution to work for the greater cheating community. There has never been, and never will be, an easy solution to cheating. It is a constant endeavor to make sure that every cheat ever developed is accounted for, alongside constantly developing new countermeasures in order to address the way that cheat devs get around whatever your previous security was.
