Destiny 2 success depends
1 - Dedicated server.
2 - Efficient Anti Cheating.
3 - Active security team.
4 - developers play the game.
5 - Respect for the loyal player base.
6 - Agility in solving gameplay problems.
7 - Balanced weapons and characters.
Does anyone disagree?

I don’t see much of this game doing anything remarkable after TFS. Call me a pessimist but they’ve had ample time to fix core issues and have just kicked the can down the road. Maybe it’s my age (41 this year) but this will be probably where I bow out of games (yes I’m aware nobody cares) in general because I just don’t see innovation in the hobby I once had. I haven’t pre-ordered TFS because I don’t know anything about it and I’m curious what Sony is going to do.

5 답변There are a lot less cheaters than people think there are, especially on console. Next time you swear you played against a cheater, record what happened and watch it back. 9 times out of 10 it wasn't cheating

4 답변Number 4 is the most important imo You can tell that they don’t play this game anymore at all

3 답변작성자: Duke 2/26/2024 7:19:27 PM1-Never happening for this game. Too late/expensive. 2-Potentially but not holding my breath. 3-Kinda goes with #2. 4-Already happens. 5-"the loyal playerbase" do not all want the same thing. 6-They would probably disagree with you on what constitues a "problem" but sure. 7-Balance isn't acheivable in this game, especially not since Abilities 3.0.

2 답변Bungie literally has all of that except dedicated servers, which has been explained in multiple twabs over the years as a foundational engine issue that will never be implemented.

1 답변Removal of SBMM is the biggest point. I am done waiting in queue for 15 minutes for a CASUAL QUICKPLAY match in a dead pvp portion of a casual pve looter shooter just to get matched against people from china that lag around my screen while abusing cheese ability spam meta loadouts 24/7. Id rather shoot dregs in EDZ lost sectors than that mess. And SBMM is the root core of the issue. Atleast for half decent players that is.

I agree with all of this. For me with the balanced weapons and characters part, only for PvE, I would just say revert all nerfs they made. The game's become to skewed in the enemies favor that I have not been enjoying anything that is Legend or higher difficulty. I just want to have fun in Destiny, not feel like I'm playing an unbalanced mess.

1, 2 and 3 are more relevant to the PvP side, which is a side activity in Destiny (albeit an important one). Bungie obviously see value in it, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near the point where heavy investment, in line with PvP focussed games, is on the cards. Destiny’s success mostly depends on PvE. I agree with 4, 5 and 6. 7 I partly agree with. There are so many abilities and weapons, it’s impossible to have everything perfectly balanced. Destiny has always been about different things rising and falling. Earning a powerful new ability/weapon can be a driver of player engagement. My only issue is when certain things stay dominant for too long.
