I can't try to get good at PVP in this game anymore. It's just tiring and frustrating. You do everything you can to play carefully and make the right decisions, but you always melt down at the slightest moment... Everything seems so wrong, so inconsistent, so unbalanced. I really want to try to improve and have that good PVP experience that I had in Destiny 1, but I just don't have the energy to spend on that game anymore. One group still defends PVP with a care that I don't understand. In my entire life, with a few months of effort I have always managed to play several PVP games well, strange that Destiny is spent hours and hours, and I don't feel any progress. I'm seriously considering giving this up here.
And if you're reading this here, don't come at me with infetility please, it's my opinion about the game, if you play well, good for you, but really look at the PVP and see that it's always the same ones that stand out, It's one thing to like PVP, it's another to argue that it's really good... peace please

2 답변Here’s some advice from someone who was at a 1.5 in D1 to basically a 3KD in D2. Main thing, I just continue to PvP. Over time, the more you play, the more you’ll get comfortable with the maps, weapons, abilities and overtime mechanically get better aswell. That’s what I did, just play and play and play until I hated PvP but still played. If you need any help to or need someone to play with, feel free to add me :)

1 답변작성자: Kiro - 13 2/25/2024 7:43:28 PMFind a coach, don't crutch special, don't crutch cheese builds(such as hunter with double specter+double threadling grenade or warlock with Osmiomancy. This teaches you bad habits and actually makes you a worse player), watch players like Defizzle, Panduh, Legatron while paying attention to what angles they hold or the choices they make. If all else fails plug in a controller & use a side arm/last word with a sniper rifle to have the game more or less play for you. After all controller is just a hospital bed for you hands, if does more of the work so you dont have to.

I believe PvP is about to get a much needed update on March 5th🖤 Imo there's too many options, and many are one-shot kills💔 Personally play Fortnite if I want to play PVP, as there I average 6 kills a game, while on here I'm lucky to get one kill per 3 deaths

작성자: LikwiD_SmOkE22 2/27/2024 8:56:09 PMYou didn't really express an opinion. You've just described to us what you do. You only mentioned how you feel, didn't exactly give feedback. Gotta be a bit more specific or you're more than likely going to get trolled. Anyway. You won't get the pvp experience you want from playing destiny's pvp. You're better off playing a game that only deals with pvp.

2 답변Take my advice, do not take d2 pvp seriously. Sucks all the fun out of it. I unfortunately fell into that trap and will never see crucible the same. Please for your own sake just try to have fun.

작성자: Eatz 2/25/2024 2:07:58 PMPvP in this game is seriously an acquired taste. Even after getting all the necessary gear to be able to compete, you still need to deal with BS every 10 seconds while playing. Loot aside, It’s like this: You either hate crucible and never want to play it no matter what, or you can tolerate its BS enough to be able to have a questionable amount of fun.

작성자: escal8or 2/26/2024 12:32:59 AMThe problem is that it became too sweaty and too serious. Bungie played around with it too much instead of letting people just play. Weapon balancing wasn't too big of a deal in D1 because they weren't nerfing and buffing weapons so we have to use whatever they want us to use. People used a lot of different weapons

Bungie is just not good at PvP. PvE is good but PvP under Bungie is a dumpster fire. I was surprised to hear they were making a PvP game. I’m not surprised that the Marathon testers were not enthused after their play testing.
but really look at the PVP and see that it's always the same ones that stand out
Earlier I was trying to think of something that would elicit more vicious whines if it was changed than Titan nerfs do. This might be that. If I were you I'd wait until the changes take place on March 5th since a lot of the last few months has been more about figuring out how the game will move forward. When you look at the last two twabs you can tell that they've been gathering feedback for a while.

5 답변As someone who trained hard to get better from a 0.6 K/D in Trials at the beginning to a 1.8 K/D I can say it's BS. You can get better if you want. If you can't enjoy the pvp itself that's ok. Your opinion and I respect that. But the game isn't holding you back from getting better.

PvP is the worst of it, but the whole game is like throwing a child into a swimming pool without floaties to teach them how to swim.

작성자: Infamous067 2/25/2024 12:46:54 PMIs it really good? Nope, specials ruin the mode. Checkmate is the best thing to ever happen to pvp. If you want to get better, work on positioning over aim. You will be surprised how important that is in any pvp game. After you learn how to stop rushing out in the open and getting melted, work on being more proactive. This means checking that radar religiously and try as fast as you possibly can to visualize how you want the engagement to go down before the enemy player shows up on your screen. For example if you know there is a dude around the corner and you don’t know if they have special ammo or if they have a grenade ready to toss at you. The best thing you can do is set up behind any cover you can find and wait for him to get impatient to push you. This alone will allow you to win duels 80% of the time. Don’t play too passively either, if you go around walking and playing too slow, it’s gonna give the enemy room to also reposition and give them the advantage to shoot you. Destiny is a fast paced game, you need to be constantly on top of escape routes and make sure you aren’t caught off guard at all times. Notice how I haven’t said a single thing about aim? People always have the misconception that aim is all you need to be a pvp god but thats never been true, unless you are playing cod where you die in less than 0.1 seconds from literally any weapon, you cant just go around playing like that in destiny or any pvp game with a ttk of over 0.6.

There are lots of ways to improve, but if you don’t enjoy playing, maybe it’s just not for you. However, Bungie did discuss this problem in a recent TWID:
As we've increased the prevalence and strength of some sandbox elements, the ability to clearly understand what is happening from a target's perspective has suffered. It is increasingly common to be defeated instantly (or so quickly that there is no time to react), and often so many different things are happening that it’s nearly impossible to determine the sequence of events that killed you. When a defeated player has difficulty recognizing and reacting to how they were defeated, it creates a situation where it feels like there was nothing they could have done, making it hard to learn what to do better next time.
One of their goals for the 5th March update is:
Help players to more clearly understand the sequence of events that led to their death, so that they can more easily learn how to improve
https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/this_week_in_destiny_02_15_24

Have you tried obtaining and using the current top 5 meta weapons before you start caring about how well you're doing? Coz PvP isn't balanced. If you don't use the meta (the current best weapons), you're gonna have a bad time.
