Golden Gun should benefit from Solar Weapon Surge
See title. For context, I am a Warlock.
I understand the need to bug fix the Kinetic Weapon Surge thing, but the damage itself was not unfair. It's a Solar super, let it benefit from Solar Weapon Surge if it doesn't already, for the same damage bonus it had with the Kinetic version.

Nah, just take the damage from Radiant and a single Surge mod and roll it into the default Super Having to jump through hoops to get the most out of your Super is silly, especially with Well of Radiance having an antagonistic relationship with Golden Gun

16 답변작성자: MlemThing331 2/22/2024 6:54:09 PMThe damage was unfair. Even patched it’s still hitscan, nigh instant (if you pre pop) and out damages curaiss tcrash with nighthawk. It’s fine. Not to mention that solar surge also effects apex predator and sunshot, giving it next to no downside.

Dude, with the Artifact Mods and the Knighthawk buff, Goldie is already the single highest damaging super in the game. But nope, that’s not enough. I say if that happens, then Nova Bomb should get a damage buff, it should get bonus damage while you have Devour, and it should benefit from surge mods. And T-Crash should get bonus damage while you’re amplified and should benefit from surge mods as well.

2 답변You can still hit 1M shots after the stealth nerf to kinetic surge, so no, it doesn’t really need to benefit from it Wouldn’t mind it tho

2 답변Considering it's damage right now, I would prefer to constantly see that 999,999 damage from a crit with Celestial. It just feels more worth it building something like that than how Bungie is seemingly focused on forcing a gun meta at this rate.

6 답변작성자: BabyMoonArt 2/21/2024 9:47:29 PMIt still benefits from 2X kinetic surges, that's the best part. It can even be used to one phase Crota, I believe it was. Last season was where it shined, too. The buffs it could get from the artifact mods were crazy. Have a fireteam of 6 Hunters all running Star Eaters with Marksman, and as long as you continue to run headshots on Crota with a ton of different mods to help, acrobat's dodge, etcetera, you should be able to slam the -blam!- out of any DPS phase. This is why they wanted to nerf GGs. They forgot one detail, though. Hunters are supposed to be glass cannons. Even better, most of our supers are loaded with -blam!- grapeshot. 🤣 I do agree, though.
