With you on needing more Rhulk-like encounters, but Well needs a nerf, not a rework to make it better.
(I do think what you've described is a buff to well, all things considered.)

The rework is just to completely remove the stationary gameplay that it has promoted. It’s still an overall nerf.

Yeah and I'm down with non-stationary fights. Does it currently grant Resto x2? I thought it was just Resto. I don't warlock in PvE much so not totally sure. If that's the same, I guess it's not a buff. I just wouldn't increase the radius then. Like at all. It's time for something different, and I'm not super worried about Well remaining viable given how many encounters already in-game that it already trivializes and it's not like they're going to go back and change those. I think more Rhulk-like encounters on it's own will push people out of wells, but im still in favor of a direct nerf to it, with or without encounters changing much. (I hope they do, but not holding my breath.)

(I hope they do, but not holding my breath.)[/quote] Well currently heals you for 100 HP/s and provides 50% damage resistance. Restoration 2x provides 50 HP/s in PvE and 25 HP/s in PvP. My well rework would cut the healing in half and remove the damage resistance. Increasing the range to be like the boots of the assembler gives players more room to move in order to make up for the reduced benefits from well.

Okay then I misunderstood originally. My bad. I just wouldn't increase the range then, but we're just coming from two different places on it. You're trying to preserve viability, and I couldn't begin to care whether it's still viable or not. Other than that, understanding it better, it would be a good change overall IMO.
