Not only are its tracking and 3 rocket mag doable on other rockets now, but that’s the only thing going for it to begin with.
-It doesn’t deal impact damage because of proximity detonation.
-It has no subclass synergy what so ever, so no building around it in anyway.
-Useless PvE applications. Unless you have the worst possible aim in existence and want to use a void tracking rocket. But even then, Royal Entry exists.
-Even its PvP application is heavily flawed. You only get one rocket. Same as all other rockets. Grenade launchers and MG exist. With more ammo and kill potential. So why use a rocket, let only an exotic one that isn’t Gjally/Wardcliff or Deathbringer(yes this is quite good in PvP).
What I suggest?
Add Darci’s effect of “locking on to do more damage” and escalate that per shot in the mag. 1st shot deals flat damage, 2nd deals 50% and 3rd does 100%. Give it a limited time window of 3-5 seconds, so its use of a burst rocket stays intact and can’t be stored. Catalyst adds Full court: Super smart if you think about the distance travelled and its tracking strength, but since it only affects impact damage it would need a “modified” version of the perk.

3 답변Truth should make targets volatile on proximity hits and deal impact damage that suppress targets

5 답변I mean, if doesn’t help that it’s “exotic perk” is actually beaten out by an arc legendary rpg, as I have reconstruction and bipod on it, meaning I can get 4 rounds in the mag but even clown cartridge is able to give it 3

I think one of its main problems (just my opinion) is its ammo economy. It's the only exotic rocket launcher that doesn't have an additional effect. Sure, it can fire 3 rockets in quick succession, but what good is that if it can only hold 8 max. Its reserves should go up to 21.

5 답변They failed long ago on making exotics well exotic. The ones that output raw damage shouldn't have any rival when compared to a legendary of the same type. D1 Gjallarhorn for the start was truly a god exotic. That is how these things should have been treated.

You used to be able to hit a guardian flying over your head by aiming directly at the ground. When they said "aggressive tracking", they meant AGGRESSIVE TRACKING. OK, so it wasn't THAT good, but I loved watching rockets curve in all directions to hit the player who thought Stompees or air dodge was going to get them out of trouble. Sadly, instead of nurturing Gambit the game mode proper, by tweaking mechanics, Bungie took the easy way out, and have ruined almost everything good about certain exotics.

작성자: The-IIID-Emp1r3 12/24/2023 6:04:30 PMA gun they should of never bothered bringing back, having any other D1 exotic even armor in it's place would've been a better pick Specially funny when you consider two other rocket exotics , Two Tailed Fox and Eyes of Tomorrow exist where you can aim and fire up in the air and theres bound to be at least 1 rocket that'll hit

We have not enough vault space. We don't have a system allowing to pull weapons with historic kill counts from collections. (Kill trackers not working properly as it can't count should you have forgotten to change to the activities' tracker. Plus history not considered for kills acquired prior to general kill tracker introduction. But Charlemagne can...?) Too many new weapons added every season on top. Plus armor. What does this rant have to do with Truth? Nothing. And everything. Another weapon having faded into neglect and oblivion. It's not required. But I hear you. Take care!

1 답변Well when your exotic perk is aggressive tracking when tracking has been severely nerfed, you're no longer an exotic. Even in pve tracking is unnecessary. Its only use is in gambit.

Truth was the go to for bad players in Gambit invasions for a while. It's always been a crutch. Let it rot. There is no way to bring it up to par without breaking Gambit or pvp again. Tbh, I think you must be brain dead to even want to use it.
