One and a half years later - any plans for Destiny on the Steam Deck?

One year later, and still no news on the topic. Other MMOs, RPGs, and shooters have had Linux (or at least Proton) launches to great fanfare; WoW, Overwatch 2, Guild Wars 2, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, CS2, Unturned, and all without any increase in cheaters. Battleye, Destiny's most apparent form of client-side anti-cheat, has supported Proton for quite a while with many games having enabled support for it to much success: ARK: Survival Evolved, Arma 3, and DayZ all fully supporting Proton out of box and many other games like Escape from Tarkov and Atlas having experimental support. It feels like this is just an excuse from Bungie to hide the poor performance the game has on slightly underpowered hardware. While the only way to play Destiny 2 on the Steam Deck and other handhelds is on Windows, Bungie can claim that Windows adds more overhead and is less efficient than the preinstalled Linux which is why it maxes at 30fps in strikes at 75% render resolution. Similarly, since people who have bought a Steam Deck would see that they'd need to install Windows to try that interesting free to play multiplayer space shooter by beloved Halo studio Bungie on Steam, they would never bother trying Destiny 2 and wouldn't see how bad the performance is on Valve's handheld. Will support for Linux, through Proton or otherwise, be looked at in the future, even if after the end of the Light and Dark saga?
