New Engram Focusing Costs are too high
I went to each vendor to see how removing legendary shards would effect my ability to chase god rolls from vendors.
It is something I enjoy doing, even though I know the god roll won't make a difference when it comes to Flawless attempts in Trials or working towards Ascendant Rank in comp.
I haven't gone flawless in 2 seasons and have only made it to Adept in Comp.
So playing the game would at least reward my time with engrams. To chase god rolls to make my grind just a bit easier.
With the new engram economy changes I will be able to focus 2 guns with 10 engrams instead of 5 guns. It was already difficult to chase god rolls, but this change makes it pointless to even try.
It is strange that legacy engrams and armor cost more than new items. Normally it is the opposite. Old stuff gets discounted, goes on sale or gets put on clearance. The new items are full price.
This is a change in the wrong direction. It motivates me to not bother playing instead of incentivizing me to play more.

It takes a minimum of 3 regular games to get 5 engrams. (I tried yesterday with Gambit.. and I think it was due to winning as well).. max drop was.. grand total of.. 2................ The only benefit delivered to the player-base was if you like the 1 engram weapon > Breakneck @ Drifter, Sword:( @ Zavala, an old shotgun :**( @ Shax) >> I went ahead and bought 5 Breaknecks and 1 dropped for me in game.. none of these rolls had anything exciting.. but thats ok.. thats RNG.. All other weapons are 3 engrams or 5 engrams.. meaning you will never be able to get any other weapon for just 1 drop/game (unless they ever have double drops maybe). That TWID where they said we want you to be able to focus more... nah.. >>>I will go ahead and say that [u][b]its possible the new Engram Grind was done due to the already known but unannounced Delay[/b][/u]. This is a replacement for content.. you now grind Engrams.. for gear that.. is mostly old. Where did the weapons team go?? -
1 답변Legacy stuff used to be 5 if you never had it, 2 if you already had. If they’ve made it 5 even when you already own the weapon that’s gonna be a severe nerf.
