6 답변작성자: BetweenMyself 11/22/2023 7:01:19 PM
A single Witcher ornament set: $20 Witcher 3 Complete Edition: $12.50
Your post is missing an important piece of context; a little thing called Black Friday/Cyber Monday. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is currently on sale for most platforms for varying prices for roughly the next seven to ten days*, at which point it will revert to its standard $49.99 price across all platforms’ digital storefronts. Meanwhile, character cosmetics for individual games generally don’t go on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday; even if they did, the Witcher skins in Destiny can’t be purchased until the start of the next Season which is not until after these sales events typically end. Your attempt to point out the disparity between the prices of a full game and a set of skins that hasn’t been released yet falls flat as a result of the lack of necessary context. * Steam: $12.49 until 11/28 https://store.steampowered.com/sub/124923/ Epic: $12.49 11/28 at 9:00am https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt GOG: $12.49 until 11/29 at 0:59 EET https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_game_of_the_year_edition Xbox: $14.99 “ends in eight days” https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-complete-edition/c261457lcnmj Sony: $14.99 until 11/27 at 11:59pm PST https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP4497-PPSA03972_00-00000000000GOTY7 Nintendo: $23.99 until 12/3 https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-complete-edition-switch/ (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

2 답변They’re starting to become like Fortnite. Start adding characters and skins from other games and shows to stay relevant with their players. Don’t get me wrong it’s cool but these should be in-game acquired by playing. The least they can do is make a community challenge to unlock these skins or have the option for those that don’t care about their wallets to buy the skins.

1 답변First real announcement for the new season isn't content to play, but, something we can buy. Clearly Bungie isn't getting it at all and will continue to operate the exact same way as they did prior to the layoffs etc.

3 답변...Back in my day, we didn't need to pay to win, neither did we have to spend real money to earn cool cosmetics. The only difficulty we had was hard mode! And we earned our cool outfits with blood sweat and guts! ...And in-game currency.

1 답변I do like the Titan set a lot. However, I refuse to spend real money when I’m sitting on 60k+ Bright Dust.

2 답변작성자: The Hermit IX 11/22/2023 3:24:11 PMArmor looks great. It’s that simple. Cross put out a video on monetizing that got over a million views this season. In his video yesterday he says he’s buying this armor lol. Monetization isn’t going away in games and even more so when the game requires constant maintenance. No one wants to hear that but it’s the truth,

1 답변Sadly, there will be idiots who buy them, all three even. Such is the whole reason why they keep making these overpriced sets for whales. That said, I hope somewhere down the line these prices will be dropped or the sets start having individual pieces brought into the store for Bright Dust in the future. These sets aren't going anywhere after all. All it really amounts to is whether or not people have impulse control because if there was enough pushback from players and the literal bare minimum of players were actually paying for this microslop, I'd bet Bungie would bring the prices down from that. It's never gonna happen of course, but it'd be nice to think that in some parallel universe out there, there are people who are more responsible with their wallets than the ones here.

작성자: Cal O'Mari 11/22/2023 5:07:43 AMThey really have no genuine ideas at this point, do they? Tell you what, they're a bunch of greedy b*stards. A good example of cosmetic pricing? Ace Combat 7. Know how much a whole jet costs in the Steam store? Four dollars. A whole set of three, is $12. All of these include multiple skins with them too, I think its like 8 skins total? Something like that. That's also including extra cost to cover paying Steam for using their services. They even have a collection from 'Top Gun: Maverick', though that one is $20 on its own, and $75+ if its with buying the game too. This is with paying licensing rights from Boeing (if I remember correctly a real jet was designed for Maverick), the studios for the name, whatever else I may be missing there, and Steam, again giving multiple skins each, and multiple models. There is no chance in f*ck that any of this sh*t is worth what Bungie charges. I don't care if its jets in AC7 or armor in D2, its the same principle, same process, just different genres, different models. Destiny 2 is just f*cking egregious. This company deserves to fail. Still alot of people purchasing; I'm one who still plays, but I can't justify giving them more money as it stands because of this kind of sh*t.

2 답변I'd love to see some gear from Killzone, StarWars (Ponchos, amiright!?), or Darksiders in Destiny.

1 답변They got to make up for lost revenue somehow. Personally I think it's more curious how all the content creators who have been bashing bungie over the state of the game + all the bungie drama are now drooling over these overpriced meh ornaments.
