To keep our players safe, we recently launched a system that considers player age to help us manage everyone's information legally, responsibly, and with important protective safeguards for our younger players. One of the changes is about phone numbers. To help combat cheating within Destiny 2, free to play players are required to verify their SMS prior to being granted access to portions of the game. We can't collect phone numbers from players under a certain age without confirmation from their parents. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have a system in place to collect parental confirmation. This means some parts of Bungie experiences might not be available to you. We apologize for the disruption that this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
