Feed the Void should provide Dark Matter benefits

Basically, the title, the "feed the void" aspect on warlocks, feels pretty lackluster, especially when comparing it to a fragment that has so much more usability. When using "feed the void", devour should grant the benefits of the "dark matter" perk from the void warlock middle tree, where getting a void ability kill would now grant melee and class energy in addition to health and grenades. That would definitely make it stand out from the fragment.

  • Definitely agree with how feed the void feels like a fragment. I also think, maybe a good idea is for the fragment itself to get a nerf (it is a main stay in almost all non-warlock loadouts). Make the extension of devour with kills limited to the aspect which means limited befit from health and grenade energy is still available through the fragment, but consistent use of the buff requires the aspect. Dark matter would be pretty cool though. Kind of like nezarec's sin at base which fits void nicely.

It should offer a third fragment imo

Agreed, as well as "Devouring Depths" Artifact Mod. So, all in all, you'd have : Feed the Void : - Void Ability kills grant you Devour - When you have Devour, kills grant you Melee and Class ability energy in addition to it's normal effects - When you have Devour and cast your Void Super, it deals increased damage for its full duration (30%) Still would keep at 2 slots.

Honestly the weakest out out of the buffed nade aspects and it requires you to charge your nades.

          • Either that or bump it up to 3 slots. Wasn’t so bad when orbs weren’t everywhere, but now it’s basically a fragment.

I literally just shared a build with my clan that is Void'lock w/o Feed the Void. Devour is stupid easy to proc it anyway, Child is great, and Devour on orb pick up is fine. The build doesn't feel any different from a survival perspective. Since Nova Bomb is hot garbage they should just let Devour feed super, and jack Nova Bomb's up time with FtV. You're actually feeding the void.

              • Yeah, this is a good idea since hunters and titans have aspect that boost their respective bonus (defensive bulwark for example)
