I’ve had my fair share of incredible luck from RNGeesus but I’m now experiencing the bad side of RNG.
A few of my friends have had real bad luck when running raids over and over for specific gear and I never truly realized how demotivating it can be until this week where I’ve consistently farmed RON and got absolutely nothing (red boarder/exotic wise).
I’m not sure but, wasn’t Bungie supposed to have added a mechanic where over a certain amount of completions of raids increases your chances of rarer drops? Or did they remove that and add it to triumphs which are near impossible without a decent clan to raid with (Forum teams aren’t great)?
Anyway, rework it Bungie!

Funny story; I've never gotten a dungeon/raid Exotic before although I admit to not running them frequently (or much at all after the first time) so I don't have all of the drop-rate boosts, but earlier tonight I got my first Deep Stone Crypt completion and the Eyes of Tomorrow dropped for me. Two of my fireteam were clanmates (one is my brother as well) and they were mildly irked at my luck. I admit to feeling kind of bad, at least for a minute or two, but the feeling passed rather quickly, lol.

RNG in Destiny is beyond amazing. Anyone who doesn’t believe that r noobs. How dare you think such a thing. No wonder ur luck is so bad! I got the shotty from Ron first try! What losers! RNG is perfectly balanced! *gets jumped by people who grinded content for years* RNG has its ups and downs. (Mostly downs) Your luck probably hopped over to me cause I got 32 essence of oversoul and the shotty same day. The shotty being first try.
