I don’t hope or wish for Bungie , Marathon, &/or Destiny to fail. Even as negative as I am about the state of D2 & Bungie’s toxic business practices - I’m not hoping for failure. I’m hoping for a come back.
With that said, If you seriously want Bungie / Destiny to change - you need to stop playing & purchasing Bungie products. The only feedback that the analytic departments at these gaming corporations understand is numbers. Player population numbers, player engagement numbers, pre-sale numbers, and sales numbers. What I want to happen is for consumers to realize their power over these greedy gaming corps, flex with their wallets, and force these corps to change their business models to be pro-consumer.

I want.. something drastic to happen, to open their eyes and take shít seriously. Rather than pandering and peddling their gender/race agenda bs, they should be focusing on actually delivering good content. But y'know bungo.

작성자: CAMSTOCK 10/8/2023 8:42:43 PMThis game really really bad!!!u die with oneshot all time, no balance… and all they do is stretch out the time to complete any mode, there are no ideas, constant stupid unbalanced nerfs, it feels like there are no developers who worked on the game, there are people who work for a salary at a job that they hate, how can you work when you in advance I paid Sony for you to stay and make game services, it all seems to have failed since Jim left and I hope that bungo will also be fired for their incompetence, only promises into emptiness, when all the streamers started talking about the bad game and started playing other games right after the terrible twab the director came out and promised what they should have done a year ago and everyone believed in it and ran to pre-order... naive people are deceiving you once again!!! for myself personally, I decided that this is the last season for me, that's it boring not interesting difficult there is no such fun and pleasure from the game as it was before!! now there is only negativity and nerves from the game everything is just so terrible... but there will always be people who will deny it... seriously 1:30 minimum for a solo of a new dungeon? stupid decisions and balance, I was impeccable in prophecy only because this is an excellent decision and the dungeon itself and not this is what they passed off as Dlc and everything after it... and what they showed they are trying to play on nostalgia like Activision with a new cod that would to sell you another craft that in a month the same 30 thousand people who are still playing this garbage mechanic will still be playing in a month... and here they showed you everyone’s favorite Cade 6 and the tower from d1 and just terrible locations and graphics as if schoolchildren did it... this just business, they sell you a shader for $10 and you buy a campaign skip and you buy unnecessary decorations that you literally use for a while, but what’s the point? it will go away and will not be in demand in Poland, the meaning of exoticism is outdated in this game, there is so much in this store that the meaning has long outlived its usefulness, having turned into a model of how to sell better, and the content that you receive is just a dummy stretched out from year to year, the same thing, nothing new everything old is once interesting and only because it’s cheap to make and return since starting from scratch is always expensive... you’re just consumers and they use it, I’m not just talking about bungo, as long as they see online and the number of players and time in the game everything is fine, until then until people start saying again that the game is terrible and the director comes to you with new promises to reassure you again... P.s I use translate

13 답변작성자: iLLiCiT 10/7/2023 8:38:46 PMPlayed this game religiously for 9 years across several ACC's & platforms, carried me thru some bad times & kept my mind ticking over, but recently I suddenly didn't want to play anymore when I got up (I'm retired so free most of the day, I said retired, not old :)) ) & preferred to just watch TV or read about other games. I just couldn't face the same old gambit, strikes, PvP chores, chasing loot I don't care about. Started playing call of duty after a 9 year hiatus, modern warfare 3 looks very decent, so I bought modern warfare 2 to see if I still enjoyed cod before I got hyped for 3. Played cod all week, an hour here an hour there, whilst still doing bits of destiny. Today's the first day in forever I've not even turned destiny on, I've had 3-4 1 hour spells on cod, i even tried warzone & won my only 2 games, I'm having fun, & catching up on lots of TV stuff I've neglected, I'm even watching breaking bad for the 5-6th time. Point being, when you break the habit of feeling the need to login, & you try other things, you realise bungie need to do way better, & it'll never happen, so I think for me it may be over. I still have my final shape pre order in place but I'll likely cancel that once I've played next weekends mw3 beta & see how I feel about gaming. If someone like me feels like this, others must too, & that's gotta worry the guys in Seattle.

1 답변It is pretty clear that there are issues with high level management at Bungie. No matter the game director, some kind of chaos and bullshit continues. And every time there is this deluded base that will defend them with any excuse they vmcan find. I want them to finally fail badly enough to where their pack of babbling genuflectors cannot create the illusion that they just need *one more one more chance*.

1 답변I don't want them to fail, in the sense that I'd rather they get their act together and start consistently making some good decisions about their own property. However, I can't say it wouldn't be at least somewhat cathartic to see them get their comeuppance for how they've treated their fans over the years.

13 답변작성자: GetSpaghett 10/8/2023 4:40:14 PMI want Bungie to fail, but not out of spite (at least not mostly). Greed and laziness are ruining the video game industry. Bungie is one of the leading examples of this anti-consumer mindset. "Don't overdeliver" is what they say. That is a cancerous mindset to have. The reason I want Bungie to fail is to set an example. If Bungie succeeds, then it's another signal that this cancer on the video game industry is the successful way to go for more developers to copy. However if Bungie fails in the wake of the many great recent games, it will be noticed and hopefully deliver a needed wake-up slap to the industry.

1 답변Fun fact about this post and the forums in general is that the people posting on here are either people who haven't played the game since Red War or even earlier and smurf accounts. What these people have in common is Destiny 2 to them is an abusive relationship. Man, it's so funny to watch these forums sometimes. 😆 🤣

As long as you believe there is more than x,y and have blue or green colored hair, bungie will treat you good. But don't be brown or black because they gonna disrespect you somehow lol. They got the bag, they just showing true colors it seems.

1 답변I’m done after Final Shape but honestly if it takes Destiny/Bungie imploding to wake people up to seeng how disrespectful and exploitative the live service game model in general has gotten, then so be it.

I don't want them to fail and they properly won't. To many People have blind loyalty towards bungie. Most likely case as player count drops prices will increase. Up to a year ago I use to always recommend destiny to friends but now it's not

I left Destiny and went to play Call of Duty DMZ, an extraction shooter. I've played it for the entire last year. I have not played Destiny at all. So honestly, i'm wishing them success. Because as a destiny pvp player or lapsed one, Destiny pvp for me is pretty much dead. It's been dead since they killed Pinnacles, sunset, no maps and stasis for me. So I don't think there is any way at all they will get me back playing pvp daily. Especially since i haven't played Destiny at all since like one of those Witch queen seasons. But honestly, i wish them well.

3 답변Bungie is very alive and well. See, unlike Bioware who's "magic" couldn't save Anthem, Bungie really does have that "magic". Well, it's not really magic so much as fan retention. See below... Bungie made Halo 2. For some reason people think Halo 2 was one of the greatest games ever made. Most of those people don't remember it was rushed to release and unfinished. Not a bad game from my recollection, but there was nothing in it that is akin to say fighting the Guardian Ape in Sekiro. Now that's pretty high up on my list of "must experience" gaming moments. Halo 2 had...dual wielding... Fun Fact: Luke Smith ripped the game apart in his review back when he was a journo, and to thank him, Bungie was like "Hey, wanna job?". So moral of that story is, Keep letting them have it on the forums. They might just send you an offer.

1 답변I think I’ll just stick to playing video games I enjoy and not playing video games I don’t enjoy.

12 답변The game, no. The Eververse store, yes! If nobody bought anything from that predatory thing it would be great. Bungie would have to focus on making the game better to build their player base instead of relying on the store to pump up revenues.

3 답변작성자: mxgreg 10/8/2023 1:33:44 PMThe game is what it is. I think you have to accept that and lower your expectations. The focus is on grinding and extending playtime with exceeding longer bounties and checkmarks. Adding stuff to the cash shop Most of the good content in D2 came from outside studios. Hopefully, their next project is not too far out
