I’m happy they at least brought it back again before taking it out of the loot pool. It’s so dumb they don’t just leave them in the pool to focus after a flawless. Even if it isn’t the right week you should be able to focus a 7 win ticket after a flawless into whatever adept weapon you want. Then every weekend people would have a reason to play. Instead we have weekends that we don’t even really want to play because it’s a lmg or a glave or in this case for you the handcannon.

Even though consistently earning adepts in Trials is just about the hardest thing in the game to do, they screw us over with a mind-bogglingly poor and basic loot system with forced weekly FOMO. Didn't get to play one week? Sorry! No gun you wanted. If I could simply earn the adept to be able to focus it later on, that would be incomprehensibly superior to what we have now. Also, the HC is a good gun, don't get me wrong. I just already have it and don't really care to grind for it again.
