As a fan of the game it truly makes me sad to see my entire clan just up and quit. I'm going to have to find another game to run with.

To me things really went downhill when we became space pirates, then space cowboys, then defending Silver Surfer’s video game playhouse, and now fishing. Seriously….the future of humanity depends on the Guardians. Bungie decided to have them go fishing. Then add the repetitive seasonal crud: each week seems to be go do X, then do Y, then wait until reset. Then repeat. The mystery and darkness we had in D1 is gone. Now it’s The Thrilladome! Yeah esports! /s

Destiny 2 in 2023. We are currently in the process of gathering coral from a methane ocean so Sloane, aka Nice taken lady can trip out with a massive trout. This fish is blackmailing the nice taken lady to get her coral so she can get high. The nice taken lady thinks that the tripping trout has some insights to impart but in reality she is just out of her face and talking rubbish. Nice taken lady likes to trip out and then tell us to go talk to her through a machine in the next room. She then takes a week off to recover from ten minutes of getting high. Riker from Star Trek generations turns up occasionally to talk like a 60's Hipster for some reason but Nice taken lady is not nice to him. This is because she is an empowered modern wahmen and she is Boss. The giant trout is clearly stalking Sloane but no one seems bothered by this. Most of the Vanguard has gone fishing, it seems the pools disappear periodically turning a relaxing activity into pointless exercise. No one seems to know why catching fish makes more fish want to be caught though. Maybe the fish are just desperate to leave the game, large numbers of players certainly are. Meanwhile the massive golf ball the story is supposed to be set around is still in orbit and now has the the Witness inside it. Whatever he is, looks like a low grade cartoon baddie with a rubbish wardrobe. He got in through a portal that looks like wallpaper from 1964 and just disappeared. We were going to do something about it but we were too busy playing Guardian games which consists of doing everything we normally do, but more, because a pensioner told us to.. I got 64 versions of the same Scout Rifle and REALLY bored of the pensioner. So that was worth it. Ana Bray is clearly distraught at the death of Rasputin. She has abandoned her dog at the bottom of the tower close to the two drunk fallen that have been trapped in a fence since forever .. and just disappeared. Why is no one bothered about this barbaric act of animal cruelty ?? .. Lots of people have disappeared come to think of it, no one has Eido since forever and the hot rumour is that she moralised at someone once too often and is now an ornament at the bottom of the Methane Sea. Here's hoping. Elsie Bray has gone as well, she hasn't even shown up on Neptune despite have one of those weird flying fish. Must be because of Nimbus the ten foot man child. I avoid the place too because listening to him makes me want to superglue my ears shut. Mara Sov is still in a trance down at the Farm and Mithrax has jogged on as well to locations unknown. Caitl is somewhere too. Even the baddies have gone, Eramis is nowhere to be seen. Still, I am sure they will be back when they have something to say. Hopefully not Nimbus though. We do hear about Osiris and his robot boyfriend Saint but they have apparently had a fallout out in the last two weeks. One of few people who you do still actually hear from is Tess, strangely you can hear hear almost anywhere in the tower as you wander about wondering why you are there in the first place. Her Emporium of Overpiced Tat has now hoovered up everything in the game that isn't mostly low stat armour and reskinned weapons and is now selling them at hugely inflated prices because profiteering is what organisations like her do when people are struggling to pay things like their heating bills. Still, if you want a weapon skin, sparrow, ghost, new ship or maybe a new shader .. go see Tess. She's the one sitting on a black horse with the mask on. The highway robber. Apparently Osiris bought Saint a weapon skin recently and Saint went ballistic as he could have bought ten hours of Nimbus saying nothing for that amount. Meanwhile Zavala is just standing about looking at where the giant golf ball should have been. Maybe he should do something about that but the word is he's waiting for the giant trout to tell Nice taken lady something worth hearing. New players are wondering who Hawthorne is because she seems to be some kind of tavelling bird saleswoman who doesn't sell birds. Around the corner from her is a weird place with strange symbols from a group called New Monarchy. Sounds like a really cool rock band. Meanwhile we are still killing large numbers of Cabal and Fallen, apparently we are only allies with some of them now and harvesting the body parts of our enemies because talking beacons tell us to. Ikora has apparently been spotted with Cayde. Sounds like someone else has been getting high with the magic trout. Gambit is still a thing. Not sure Vex Incursion is anymore though, no one I know has ever seen it. The Crucible is still about and Saladin will be back soon with his usual haul of Iron Banner stuff, regular crucible gear and the seasonal stuff we get from NIce taken lady. I did ask him where the ships, ghosts and sparrows we used to get from Iron Banner back in the day but he just wandered off muttering something about Tess getting to meet some War beasts. Right, better get back to it. Off to run some Battlegrounds for two shards, yet another version of that reskinned auto rifle and a rubbish piece of armour ten levels below the pinnacle cap I am at. Yeah, as if.

To every casual player out there, if you want change, let your wallet do the talking. Boycott Marathon and Destiny 2, and just stop playing as well. When the numbers drop by a third or more, Bungie will act, however if you can’t do that, then your complaining will simply fall on deaf ears.

I don’t understand why you guys complain on the forum 24/7 instead of switching to a different game lol the games been out for almost 10 years and they almost never take player feedback seriously and they aren’t going to start now.

I feel it. All I do is hop on to complete weekly storylines, level 3 ranks of the season pass then hop off. I remember back in the days “D1” spending DAYS without stopping, went 3 days once without eating sleeping or showering lol but now………just a shame

The uniqueness of the loot is gone. Whether it be armor or weapons every drop we may get 1 good gun. And if they gun isn’t a raid or dungeon weapon then the chase isn’t present. The game used to feel more mythical when the only way to be max level was through endgame and the truly coveted loot was from endgame as well. Now the best sets are in eververse and the best guns are far from true endgame drops. There hasn’t been a raid or dungeon exotic since Anarchy and Vex and Div that were true meta. The game is now just checklist instead of space odyssey fighting alien gods

Serious question. Why would bungie listen to you saying the game isn't fun anymore when you play damn near everyday? You've logged in several hours after making this post. If you were running a business, reading your own comment, why would you change anything?
