is there stuff to do? Sure. But nothing worth the time it feels like. I haven’t done story content in weeks just because I know I won’t get anything out of them. Not too sure how to explain it but this game just feels lifeless and not worth ANY form of time investment.
I’m not even sure how you could fix it at this point but it sucks to see a game as fun of this end up in such boring, lifeless state

49 답변
Not too sure how to explain it but this game just feels lifeless
I'm not being a troll here, just pointing out a fact. The game has been lifeless since D2 released, but it got a hell of a lot worse when they went on their own. Since they weren't going to invest in this game they gave you a number, "power engrames" and a whole mess of unnecessary grind to make you feel you were doing something, when in fact, you weren't really doing anything at all but doing what they conditioned you to do.
Run in circles.
They had all these years to actually do something good for the game but they chose the stupid Cod, Fortnite, etc... model.. So you got what you paid for.

I know it's definitely not what a lot of people want, but removing the power grind and switching the rewards has seriously declined my play time. No need to level up for lost sectors, got them done first week, no reason to do strikes as who cares about a bad roll of an exotic I've already got. Yeah I could do the none stop fun of bounty grinding for GM's but again it's just not worth it. I can get a badly rolled exotics from any activity and at some point all the currencies become basically useless.

2 답변As repetitive as the content is, I've always said that playing Destiny is all about WHO you play with, not WHAT you play. Grinding out stuff is tedious if I'm by myself. But if I'm with friends in a group chat...time flies, dungeons are fun, raids are fun, strikes are less boring...and I can communicate with friends who are unfortunately cursed with having wife's and/or kids thus being imprisoned, never to see the light of day. This gives me plenty of reasons to log in

11 답변I used to enjoy playing destiny after a few beers as you could still battle your way through most of the stuff, including pvp... but now 🤯🙈 I came back from the pub and thought I’d do a couple of missions for pinnacles, I just kept dying over and over and got bored and just turned it off.. Make destiny drunk friendly again bungie.

4 답변I’m curious if you’re expecting a god roll gun or set of armor for every single activity you do? You know you’re not gonna get much from story missions other than XP, and maybe an engram you can focus, so idk what you’re wanting from stuff like that? Play the story to see how it goes and then log off. I only do seasonal stuff and trials and it’s enough for me because it’s don’t expect too much. I used to raids, dungeons, and everything else, but it’s too much for me now. If you don’t have all the raid guns and gear, the dungeon guns and gear, or many other things in the game then there’s still plenty for you to do, but it sounds like you’re burned out. Just quit for a while and come back in a week or two and see how it is then. Every single day can’t be packed with secret missions and new stuff….it’s literally impossible.

1 답변And now you know why they drip feed content. 90% of the player base would be done after the first week of a season if they let you play all of it upfront. Their live service model is a sham.

1 답변I liked to do things to get brightdust. But now they really dont sell much for that anymore either. Zero armor sets to buy in eververse with brightdust.

1 답변Fishing is just boring to me and not a fun way to spend my time. Getting randoms who actually know how to start and do pressure trials in deep dives is rough, and having to use a fireteam tool for it is a bit annoying. I like what bungie is trying to give us, but it feels like a chore to execute it.

작성자: Scourged One 6/17/2023 11:14:20 PMThe "story content," is quite literally... Do seasonal event. Go listen to Sloane talk nonsense on behalf of a big underwhelming whale. Go to a computer in another room to hear Sloane say a few more things. Wait to repeat next week. It's actually hilariously, pathetically bad, boring, and uninspired. By this point anyone willing to pay BungLe for more of this is either actually stupid, or addicted to this game like a drug.

13 답변작성자: Obi-Juan 6/17/2023 11:57:32 PMThe new dungeon is one of the best in a while and deep dive can be really rewarding (I got an exotic, 3 engrams and 2 deepsights from one tier 7 completion) if you get your fireteam to the higher tiers especially tier 7. Not having anything to do and not wanting to do anything are 2 completely different things

After proving to myself that I can solo flawless trials multiple times despite
HAVING SMOOTH BRAIN, TRASH CAN TM8S THAT MAKE THE SAME PLAY OR MISTAKE THE ENEMY IS EXPECTING GOING UNDER 0.2k/d
hardships I lost the only flame that was keeping me here…

Ya, i felt like that before Season of the Seraph. Its stale, lifeless, and an all round Wasteland that not even Mad Max would venture into. Hopefully with the Success of D4, in which gives Bungie Competition in the Live Service Loot Market, a Reason to do good changes. Unfortunately they got 8 months till Finale Shape to do such a thing, or what's on everyone's mind is the Fall of the Destiny Franchise as a whole.

작성자: JimJonze 6/17/2023 1:34:47 PMI agree. Why bother getting past the hard cap only for the activities lower your level? I'm letting my Titan fester because I have NO interest in replaying the nightmarish idiotic grind that was the Lightfall campai(g)n; I had to cheese Calus just to finish with my warlock but they patched that exploit suspiciously fast... I would vent my spleen for days if I thought Bungie actually gave a crap about the average solo player but it seems they only listen to streamers who want impossible challenges to conquer for bragging rights and subscribers.

2 답변작성자: Kouz_MC 6/17/2023 6:11:48 AMDon’t like to go on the side of a patrol area to hit square every 20sec for 3h? Come on fishing is fun and relaxing. Plus you get to enjoy a few public events! Right? Don’t you like to play the same old raids over and over again for armor pieces when all you need are frames or harmonic alloys only so you can “reshape” the weapon you already spent days unlocking and leveling up or else you have nothing to do really? Don’t you like to run the wellspring for hours so you can finally forever carve in the marble a crafted weapon with enhanced perks? Yeah because who has unlimited AA to test perks? Who even tests perks in this game. Right? Don’t you like to run the exciting strike playlist made of 20min long boring af battlegrounds, and then opening that final chest so you can get the precious glimmer? Don’t you like to queue for a pvp game, wait 15min in orbit to be put in a game that started 10min ago, and the only thing you know is that you’re on the losing team. Don’t tell me you don’t like to get farmed by supers? Don’t you like the new glaives? Trials, end game pve, they are amazing!! Aren’t they the ultimate weapon for a hack and slash game like Destiny? I could go on for days. Literally. Destiny is a star product that’s been given to cash cowing professionals, it lives on gambling addiction, friendship, envy, and a few sparks here and there to keep the illusion going.

Not only it's not worth any form of time investment. More importantly, it's not worth any form of MONEY investment. That's why I have STOPPED purchasing any content starting with LIGHTFALL. This YouTube video summarizes many of the reasons this game is no longer worth my money: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWzjm3XTWgw

4 답변작성자: THE ELDER 6/16/2023 5:52:02 PMYou are 100% right, the joy itself has been sucked out by Bungie difficulty changes, everything is a protracted slog now, even the simplest content .. But the Bungie ethos towards rewards is so totally off, even if you decide to go through their enforced slog, the rewards are so poor or nothing at all, it becomes a pointless exercise, legend and master dungeons being a classic example, so the conclusion for many many players is, why bother ? In conclusion, even if you decide the above is worth ignoring, half way through, or worse still, at the boss, you get kicked out through some bullsh1te erroneous error code from the Bungie farmyard, which adds insult to injury by then telling you to "check your network" !!!
