"Destiny 2 servers are not available" repeated error

ISP/Speed/connection type: AT&T/298.6 Mbps upload, 26.1 Mbps download/Wi-Fi

Issue: Upon logging in, persistent issues reaching character selection screen. Please see image URL attached. No error codes issued. Earliest occurrence of issue was on 05/22/23.
Repro Steps:
1. Boot PC
2. Launch Destiny 2 from Steam client
3. Click anywhere on the "Destiny 2 Lightfall" screen to initiate server connection attempt
Actual Result: Error message appears, no specific error code, see image URL attached. (Actual error text reads as follows: "ATTENTION. Destiny 2 servers are not available. Dismiss this error to try again. For more information, visit help.bungie.net")
Expected Result: After momentary connection to Bungie's Destiny 2 servers, character selection screen appears.

Notes: ISP changed from Xfinity to AT&T recently. I believe I've played D2 after we switched the ISP, but can't be certain. Verified integrity of game files multiple times, made sure network adapter drivers are updated, and uninstalled/reinstalled, all with no success. Please help.

Following these steps and then also disabling my Ethernet connection in control panel worked. If you are using ethernet maybe disable Wifi?
